It’s so refreshing to see a younger couple living life to the fullest and appreciate every moment that you’re given. Because every day truly is a gift. I know I took life for granted until I became a widow at 43. I am now 45 and learning to live life to the fullest because my husband couldn’t. He was also and RN and talked about travel nursing when our kids were grown. I bought an RV and a can am spyder and plan to sell my sticks and bricks when my teenage son graduates in 1 more year. I have been binge watching all of your videos. Love the content and your sense of humor. Please continue sharing your story 😀

Tell us more about your truck is it a diesel or Gass? Does it have airbags suspension ? What model is it ? How much horse power ? Do you have a tire monitor system ? What brand of tires ? Have you had any mechanical problems ? Does a 5th wheel tail drag ? Do you have a solar, or a back up generator ? Do you use default if you have a diesel? Do you have trailer extended mirrors ? Is their any sway when a large truck passes by ? On a 5th wheel What is the vehicle weight load at the tongue hitch, max. Before attaching the 5th wheel ? What about stopping or following g in the rain ? How difficult is it to control the trailer if you have a truck tire blow out ? Can you uses the trailer to break if you have a truck blow out to stop the forward motion ? Is their any map or apps that inform you of low over passes or bridges ? Why in Texas they have 100 car pile up rocks? Was, their that many people tail gating ? Just want to know ? Sorry, about all of those stupid questions. Mike

CARL, I worked in radiology where the phone rings ALL THE TIME! I didn’t realize that people thought I was a northerner and I talked really fast. Now, I’m a southern Louisiana (I’m talking right by the gulf) and southern people usually talk slow. After a couple of years there, someone called out to me but calling me Edna. They said when I answered the phone fast and nasally, it sounded like Radiology the is Edna how can I help you. How they got that when my name is Dana is beyond me. I feel you pain!

So, the dent! Get a dent repair kit. It has a tap hammer and different blocks. You remove the inner panel, place a block that matches the curve on the outside and tap the inside. No bondo and no holes. We’re camp hosting in Pensacola at Fort Pickens. I help with traffic control during the Blue Angel practice. Doing it early in our full time career. To see how it is.

Just an idea for a really short segment... Carl please read this on video. This is Berk. It’s twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It’s located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village. In a word? Sturdy. And it’s been here for seven generations, but every single building is new. We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests. You see, most places have mice or mosquitoes, we have…dragons.

#HangingWithTheHanks Hey guys!! I’m literally 2 weeks away from closing on my house then I’ll be on the road!! I’m not sure exact timelines yet but shortly after closing I am planning to go to Magnolia Beach in Texas for boondocking on the beach 🏝 and also planning on going to Kentucky Lake. As for back west I’ll be spending A LOT of time boondocking on the beach at lake Powel near Page, AZ (The prettiest place in the west!!!) You guys should check out Powel if you have never seen it!! Not to mention all the stops in between. It would be awesome to run into you guys someday. You guys are hilarious and actually remind me a lot of my cousin and his wife, they are just fun happy people. Be safe and enjoy Florida!!

@HappilyEverHanks A little helpful fyi if this hasn't already been mentioned from a MS Gulf Coast native. The mosquitos do not respond well to Downy dryer sheets or practically any dryer sheets for that matter. Rub the dryer sheet on your skin, place one around your neck, shirt pocket, whatever. This may sound ridiculous but it works here on the MS Gulf Coast where we have mosquitoes that can carry off lawn furniture. Try it and lmk your thoughts.

@@HappilyEverHanks The fifth wheel I'm getting is an Avalanche 312RS that's 35 feet in length. I live outside of Nashville and will be heading to local area RV parks in Middle TN for shake-down runs. Then heading to Gulf Shores, Ala. After that planning on going to Colorado where you have just been. I have been out there, on my bike but taking the RV this time.

First of all, LOVE you guys!! As for games for two...Quirkle is a board game that is tons of fun for two. Also, we play SkipBo, Hand & Foot, Dealer's Choice (all card games) and we like to play trivia sometimes. We'll just take a box of questions on the road and I'll ask the questions and we'll both guess before I flip the card over. Oh, also, Blokus is a cool game for two. We are supposed to be getting our Grand Design Imagine XLS on the 21st of May, and we're so excited! We've only tent camped, so total newbies here. You've given us so many wonderful tips and I thank you so much for that!

I am 59 and retired. We have a Class A diesel pusher. I can't see us full timing, but we enjoy part timing. I was out on 75 a few times yesterday, but sadly no refrigerator cover. ☹️ Lazydays in The Villages fixed my uh oh. Those big class A's are not cheap to repair. One small bump was $26k. God bless insurance. If you are anywhere close to Tampa you really need to check out Lazydays of Tampa. That place is so huge! It has been called the Disney World of RV's. You have to see it if you can. If nothing else they have a short 4 minute video on youtube. Congratulations on reaching 10k subscribers. This fall we are talking about making a run up the east coast to Maine. See the foliage. My wife and I did that trip 31 years ago. Well we actually started the trip in Salem Massachusetts, home of the witch trials. We got engaged that first night. 🤗💝🤗 These days we call Sarasota Florida home.

Congrats on retirement! Yes those bumps can get very expensive! We’ve heard such great things about the Lazy Days in Tampa, we’ll have to check it out sometime! Oil change suggestions: there is a great oil drain plug replacement. Fumoto (F137N) for my 2018 GMC Duramax (L5P). You can drain a much or a little as you want into a container then close the valve. Do drips, no mess. For replacing the oil filter cleanly, create a catch/funnel with aluminum foil below the filter. This will also keep oil off your truck frame. Funnel it into a container. Now you can cleanly recycle the oil. Keep your empty oil containers for the next oil change. I have changed my oil in rv parks, there are always a couple drips, but nothing like pulling the plug and having almost 12 quarts of oil rushing your way. Good luck.
