my favorite edh deck tech channel for sure. all the decks have plentiful and considered land bases and the deckbuilding philosophy keeps the theme focused and interactive rather than an overcosted ball of unproductive synergy.
Nice video! I really struggle with updating this deck because I do want it be as Lord of the Rings as possible, but there are some staples that are essential that come outside of the LotR set.

yes...but you have to be extremely careful if you are going up against another tribal deck, they benefit from it also, especially those ones who spam a lot of token creatures, like goblins and elves.
Is the fact that every single deck you build is 7/10 a running joke or something? I havent gotten through all of your videos (yet) but I havent found any that arent 7/10
Not a joke, no- that's the target. If I didn't get it up to 7, that means I failed to meet my goal. The power level cards I show off here are how I try to distinguish between some of them. Someone might easily disagree with those differences, but when I say "my deck is an X" at game night, I usually bring one of these to help shortcut an explanation of what I mean by those labels. Instead of trying to build 4 different power levels of deck to cater to every different player's needs, I chose 7 as my target because it's high enough that if someone wanted to power *down* a deck (which is often easier than powering up), they could easily subtract cards from the list. Somewhat recently I guess, I started adding Honorable Mentions during the credits; 2-4 cards someone could add to bring the deck *up* that were cut for no reason other than cost (not saying that adding those cards would bring it up a whole point, but it would certainly help). I can remember two decks that I couldn't get up to 7 (Korvold and Octavia, if memory serves)- both because the extreme deckbuilding costs involved with those strategies are very glass cannon and easy to hose. I find that if I brought them to play at a game with other decks that I call 7, these decks would win much less than the 25% of games I might expect were all decks equally powerful. Some of the older decks are labeled as sevens, but if I found time to update them would be eights (Megatron, Kalamax, a few others, and an upcoming Imotekh). I don't build nines and tens for the channel, and with a few exceptions, it's usually really easy to get over 5. But since 7 is my target, most of what you'll see is 7.
