A lot of couples struggle with infertility. Most handle their challenge privately, and some more publicly. Yettie is an advocate for telling her journey to help others understand what it's like to be in her shoes.
After years of trying, she and her husband decided to adopt.
In this week's episode, the Klestzicks talk to Yettie and her son, Elimelech, about their adoption experience, the struggle of infertility and the best ways to approach challenging situations.

Wow! That was amazing! I have been in your " infertility shoes" (although we did have children. Girl and boy, but that's an amazing story on its own!) and everything you said was so on target! Your outlook on life and your journey is similar to mine! Wishing you continued nachas from yours! And keep up your amazing attitude!

yes never ask if they have children. I have been on vacation several times with couples without children. I never asked if they have kids, and never know if they do and left them home or don't have yet. Even though I bh have kids I always was sensitive to this question. I find people go on vacation to escape reality, please don't make them uncomfortable

I love that you're mindful of it. I don't mind when people ask if I have kids, its the awkward follow up questions "do you want kids?" or "you NEED to have kids". It devastating to go through.

My relative has a kohen's name because his father's family originally had that name. But his father's mother wasn't Jewish. Later on, the father converted, married this child's Jewish mother, and their son, when born, was given his Jewish family's kohanic name. However, the parents divorced, the son was disowned by his biological father, who never saw him. Today that son is baruch Hashem married and a father, with a kohen's name forever. And he is not a kohen. So you don't have to be adopted to be a non-kohen with a kohen's name!

Do you think it is possible that a couple a few years after the wedding (W/O kids) to be upset for not getting kvatir? If so how do you walk between the lines?

I would only wish some biological parents would love their kids as much as this amazing woman loves her adopted child. this child and mother were surely a match made in heaven. 56:00 is so so true.

What's the name of the organization she's talking about that supports people who are infertile?

Why to struggle if you can't have a kid, you are being blessed they telling you to live your life and be happy is a blessing is not the end of the world, you can have all the kids you want but they don't belong to you they belong to someone else a God system maybe be happy enjoy life don't become a slave of a child b free God indoctrination about procreation is gonna bring a lot of trouble to you, child support divorce a lot of court meetings and Rebecca so be happy without kids and God bless you all

What are you babbling about? Why try to use God as a reference when Jesus himself was born to Mary and adopted by Joseph? You literally have no logic or reasoning abilities which is exactly what they talked about here

The Rosen’s are one of the closest people to us. They held our hands through so much. I mention ATIME throughout the interview. Fun fact : Mrs. Rosen was my 8th grade teacher. But, ( at first ) going to any ATIME support function was terrifying because she would be there and would know I had a problem. Eventually, I warmed up and was swallowed by the organization.
