@@flowstatepump I honestly stopped playing until I get better PC, because it just keeps getting worse with every new season and the last two maps has been terrible.
@@foxinthebox2153 it sounds like you might just need to optimize your game like you have to turn every single thing in your graphics to the lowest simply to even play the game i have tp do the same and i have a decent pc
I love these challenge videos. You and Boom make such a great pair. And tbh, even a lowly console player like myself was feeling a bit ill watching 30fps and below. Now you understand what is like when we get ping spikes midfight.... fun ain't it?
This videos shows PERFECTLY in a humorous way how fps are improving your gameplay in games. Even if you think you suck, with high fps you can still be pretty good but if you are cranked at a game and play on low fps you will play as everyone else or suck too on the game you play. And remember. They have very good gaming pc's so their framerate is *consistently* at the chosen framerate. Most people have pc's where they get inconsistent fps so they play worse then they actually could because of the framerate highs and lows that cause annoying micro-stutter which messes up their ability to aim at their targets or do certain actions that requires you to move in the game with WASD or the mouse.
love the content since day one kandy, been playing 75 hertz since seasaon 1 and got a permanent dive trail for diamond on season 2 for it soooo not bad 😂
Boom has a point with the "humans kan see above 60fps". If im not mistaken, humans on average sees in about 48fps. But our eyes are incredibly sensitive to change, and therefore are able to spot "smoothness" and frame-differences up to well above 1000fps. There has been done several test of this with fighterjet pilots as an example. Our eyes arent as square or simple as "it handles 60fps". And therefore you cannot simply compare it directly to a PCs FPS. Has been some years since i learnt about this, so take the numbers with a grain of salt.. :)
Finally! . A challenge that scares me to the bone . the thought of 30fps . you are truly a brave man Kandy . you think i am joking but i recently upgraded from my 60hz monitor to the 144hz one . the different is night and day . with 144hz , i feel faster and can control better as aiming better .
Hi from Madagascar, 2 years now we're enjoying ur vids (y). I sarted playing apex on laptop until s6 with average 30fps, now I have a better pc 100fps, I think it'll be also cool to do it with high ping (we can barely have 200ping here). U too are the bests ;)
i have a 3090 running on a 1440p monitor! If you are using a 1080p monitor you could definitely hit 240 fps with a 3080, probably even a 3070 but i’m not sure. either way make sure your monitor is set to 240 fps in settings, window defaults monitors to 60 out of the box
no lie had a friend who pretty much played on 10 fps, i played on his system once and it was so sad. he didnt play well either but i dont blame him now
Hi, carnivorous comment section here! The thing about 60fps is that a display that can do that has been common for a long long time, while significantly higher refresh rates were a technological challenge for the longest time, especially on LCDs. And still any display above 60 is a magnitude of cost, unless you are willing to settle for a TN display with its awful viewing angles and inferior colors just to game slightly better
