Wallahi too many negativity on the side of parents.Most of the time your children are your own reflections. Thats it.

This video brought tears to my eyes because I can relate. Too many parents are abusive and emotionally immature. They can’t handle children making their own decisions. They oppress their children, practice coercive control, throw ultimatums, and weaponize love if you don’t listen to them. It’s very hard to grow up with parents like that and not want to cut them off. Muslims need to do better and learn BOUNDARIES.

I had to cut off my parents walahi they side with my enemies against me and expect me to serve them I love them from a distance I can’t go back to where I’m being abused and they also practice witchcraft

Sheikh please I need advice !! The parents of my partner threaten to disown him if he marries me, we want to make nikkah so badly and live with them in Lebanon but they don’t accept that I am a German woman Of course he cannot risk to lose his home and his family I understand that but what can we do ?? I will become a muslim soon inshallah and I really wanna move to Lebanon and start a family with him in a Halal way Please help 😢

If there would nt be joint family system thn husband wife relationship will NVR get bitter.Joint family is also ok but in laws interfere too much,like she is serving machine in their home,it only leads to depression,thy even dnt let the daughter in laws to visit their parents within a month.watevr daughter in law does, in laws only find nd count the faults,thy NVR count the work which is done by her.

Parents need to show goodness to their children first and fulfil their childrens rights. This way, children are able to show goodness to their parents. It is high time that parents take responsibility and accountability. Children should not have to carry the burden of breaking their parents bad marriage or bad parenting cycle. This is the very reason why children become disturbed and grow into damaged adults. Children need to be loved and nurtured by healthy parents within a healthy family supportive infrastructure. Most adult children cannot afford to spend years and years in therapy. Therapeutic intervention is very costly. Parents who are arrogant (no doubt many) refuse to admit their own errors and ask for their childrens forgiveness and mend their ways. It is the parents responsibility to instill unity amongst siblings. We have to stop and think why children and young people contemplate suicide, attempt suicide and sometimes comit suicide. It all goes back to disgraceful parenting.
