I was in high-school like 6 years ago. Don't follow what everyone else is doing. The coolest thing to do is to do your own thing. People start to wonder if that's what they should be doing because no one's confident and everyone's insecure in high-school looking to fit in. The "cool kids" are usually the most insecure. I was friends with a lot of them and years later they all admitted they were actually insecure which blew my mind because they played it off so well.
