This is my favorite video from Kim Jung Gi. I can't believe he's gone. His humor and energy just pulled you in, and was always evident in his works. We lost an amazing one.
@@bastian6173 Because it's not a regular pen, if you're not familiar with it it requires practice. I think most of us that picked it up because of Kim Jung Gi, kind of hoped we would be able to draw like him right away, and that's where the frustration comes from ha ha.
About ten minutes in. He made me laugh so loudly. . And then…. I started to cry. I can only imagine what his family and close friends are feeling right now. Sending love to all.
The Gold Mine of the Psalms The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. (Psalm 91:14) The Bible tells us that one of the signs of the last days is perilous and dangerous times (see 2 Timothy 3:1) Certainly, that describes the days in which we are living. But in Psalm 91, which is the gold mine of the Psalms, we find wonderful promises of God’s provision and protection. In fact, next to Psalm 23, this psalm probably has brought more solace to God’s people over the centuries than any other psalm. As believers have faced times of danger, sickness, war, and death, Psalm 91 has been a great comfort to them. It’s an excellent psalm for anyone who faces danger. In this psalm God promises that He will deliver us, He will protect us, He will answer our prayers, and He will be with us in times of trouble. While Psalm 91 contains great promises, it also contains conditions for activating those promises. Not every person can simply take the promises of this psalm and say, “These apply to me.” Rather, these promises are only for the children of God. They are only for those who have put their trust and faith in God through Jesus Christ. So, to receive these promises, we must first meet the conditions. For example, the psalm begins, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (verse 1). The name “Most High” is from the Hebrew word Elohim. It speaks of God as the One who possesses everything. Next, the word for “Almighty” comes from the Hebrew word Shaddai, which speaks of God’s provision. So not only is He the living God, but He is also the giving God. Isn’t that wonderful to know? But to activate these promises, we must “live in the shelter of the Most High.” We must dwell in fellowship with God. We must have an intimate, close relationship with Him
@@faith9505Wow. I'm a Christian and wasn't looking for this but found it. Through the Holy Spirit God told mom and I both Psalm 91 and neither of us knew what it was about. Also hadn't read it. That Psalm talks about specific things we've been going through, so those promises in 91 are exactly what we need. We've been so sad and struggling lately. Thank you. The fact that I found this in the comments section, from a video about drawing, is a comfort. God bless from a sister :D

Thank you. Because of you im practicing with a brush pen and nothing else. I’m trying to get away from pencil and erasing and just be comfortable with my mistakes.
@@xblood_trilogyx how am I suppose to tell you my opinion if I don't say it? Idiot think of a better comeback, if only I had a dime for every person who said the same generic retort as you just did I would be rich
Boin Lee, I often replay these stream videos while I'm drawing picture books on my desk. It feels just like you and Kim's voice are accompanying me. Thanks. We all miss him, right? I miss his laurgter and conversation between you.
Now they know why they fear the ink, now they know why they are afraid of Kim Jung Gi’s art! I always improve my skills when I draw along or study his videos. I’m sure he would say it’s because I keep drawing but there is much to learn from his mastery. If I had been on the stream live,I’d ask for extreme upshot/worms eye view from feet up. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talent with the world.

1:36:19Kim Jung gi dissed me that brings me more motivation to draw lol thanks really watched it once again and the last part was really important to all artist there thank you Kim Jung gi you always keep us inspiring
I really appreciate his advice at the end of the streaming, it is not just tips for drawing but great advice for life.
Love that he is sponsored by Pentel and still is honest enough to tell people that its not the pen but his skills that makes him such a great artist 😋 Only a fool, think its the tool 😏

Coming back after his unfortunate passing, I just wanna say that his artistic threats still genuinely terrify me. Rest easy, Kim. A lot of the reason I'm not giving up and still working hard on my skills is because of you.
I love how his art is an expression of experience, education and imaginative nature, all at once. Such a great gift that we have such a broad and creative body of work to enjoy. He was instantly my favorite once seeing him in action. ❤️
poor Kim, he basically works 24/7 cause in his little spare time he has to prepare and think out his comisssions, which he has a lot of in this period.
Kim Jong Gi is the best. I love his lessons on perspective and how cocky he his with his sense of humor as well. He gets to be arrogant because he can back it up lol
lol, he has no reference but we need to trust that the subject of the drawings are coming from the audience. Nice trick. To me it doesn't matter, you are still a great artist. Very impressive visual memory.
This man is a goofball and I love it. I was expecting to see him draw Bruce Lee at 1:30:47 and we ended up with Bruce Lee throwing (or catching?) a... durian... bird.
I absolutely love how normal she is, not like presenters and streamers used to all the information coming at them at once. It feels nice and relatable.
Wow, whoever said tarantula guessed right, it's definitely something he doesn't have committed to memory, even though it's a well drawn coconut crab creature.
I just can't belive he died, it is just like a dream, he was young. I wonder how can something like this go noticed, didn't he had doctors yearly looking at his health? RIP my man.
I like to think that he faked his death so that he can ride his motorcycle and enjoy life away from the fans and cameras! No doubt he loved that life of making people smile and gasp in amazement but I like to think he is off living an incognito life 😮
