So dam happy they won the Stanley Cup the most brutal sport to win a Championship! Congrats to the team and coaches you just pulled off another miracle on ice!
Love paul maurice. What a journey. What a great bunch of guys. So happy for everyone in south florida. Love to see luongo have his moment too. Hope you guys enjoy the hell out of this summer. Youve worked your asses off
I swear I feel the exact same way. I watched our very first game with my dad 31 years ago. I watched game 7 with him. It's so much more man. See you sunday friend
So thrilled for this man. He narrowly avoided devastation. His career likely wouldn’t have recovered from a game 7 loss. Now he’s free to finish out his career, however long he wants to continue coaching
This series just about killed me, but here we are 🎉. Congratulations to all involved. I am so happy 😁. Always a pleasure listening to Paul who interviews in an intelligent and interesting manner. He always has something to say that I want to hear.
congrats PM & Panthers.. love how coach feels his 30 yrs with no cup was an eternity, Leafs are double that almost with not much hope of ending the drought soon
I don't know Paul Maurice personally, but I've seen him do press conferences so many times, and he's always come across as a real class act. I'm so happy for him.
Everyone who has won a team trophy would understand, and i bet most of the rest of you understand too. You always know its a team prize because you share it with the team, its not yours to keep, everyone gets their time with it.
He's now a Stanley Cup Winning HOCKEY GENIUS Love how articulate compassionate and courageous a man and coach he is! Best most deserving coach "you share it. You GET to share it. "
@@manny0027 ok not with sleepy joe Then once Trump is President back in the WH then . Still I would like to see your Gv Ron , the best Governor out there in amongst these players with the Stanley Cup , that would be monumental.
One of those coaches who can do this. Coach: Jump. Players: How high? Congratulations. This win was definetly a good news for me. Enjoyed watching Panthers develope from "diamond in rough" to "winning diamond in rough". I really like the team. Not just bunch of brutes but the edge of "we are ready to compete with anyone in the ice" is something that echoes beyond hockey to me. Enjoy the championship and remember that the next season starts someday so dont go full "Florida man" in the off season.
Coach Paul Maurice, said that he liked the Panthers 5 on 5 and that's exactly what he got. Not too many Power Plays and I don't think we had a 4 on 4, so when both teams are at full strength, the advantage goes to the Panthers.
Paraphrasing his first few comments, "You can't control if you win, you can only control how you play." That's not hockey advice, that's advice for life. As Agassi once said, all an athlete can do is put their best out there and try on every shot. Maybe something good happens . . . Do your best, put your heart and soul into whatever you do, leave nothing on the table. And even if you still lose, you're still a winner. Nobody can take that away from you.
I don’t think anybody actually considers the Panthers the champs. Blows a 3 game lead, out scored throughout the series. If game 7’s were called the way the other 100 or so games were called, which they should be, the oilers are the champs. Oilers had the best pk and best pp in the league, and then in the 11th hour they say oh, yeaaaah, let’s just make that clear advantage a non factor. It isn’t right. Oilers were the better team. Oilers are the real Stanley cup champs.
Man you are the Definition of a Sore Loser😒 This year is the for the Florida Panthers and this is coming from a Wings Fan! So Tell yourself whatever you want but It's Florida celebrating NOT Edmonton😠 And if you're Canadian then I'm Extra Happy that Florida won just to shut you Canadians up😏😀
