In this episode of Brad & Lex, Brad's eyes remain cautious and trance like as if to tell the song "I dont know you" while Lex dives right in to the drum rhythm and blues rock infused atmosphere pool displaying a "hyper bop" as Brad's signature "side to side sway, (which wasn't really there to begin with) seems to lose enthusiasm towards the end.

One of my favorites because it starts off their greatest record, Physical Graffiti, and its where I came in with them. I bought the double album with my cigarette money, and this song came roaring through the speakers. And it took off from there. There will never be another Zeppelin.

"In The Light" off of the same album as Custard Pie - is an essential track from Led Zeppelin. Despite being a favorite of each member of the band they never Played it live as John Paul Jones felt he couldn't replicate his part adequately. JPJ is definitely the un-sung hero of Led Zeppelin. He had a heavy hand when it came to the arrangements, in particular with any orchestration. "No Quarter" is definitely another highlight of his.

Do Led Zep reactions all day every day as far as I'm concerned! :) These double entendres were typical of the blues music that the bands of the time were influenced by. Remember they were young folks too back then!

If you don’t know what Robert Plant was talking about you need to check out Pearl Necklace by ZZ Top. 😂 I first heard this song in 1975 and I had no idea what it meant but I liked the music. A few years later I figured it out. 😂

I always enjoy you reacting to Led Zeppelin. My favorite Zeppelin song is Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (there's a great live version titled Danmark Radio 1969 - you get to see a young Zeppelin with all of their raw talent ) and my 2nd favorite song is: In My Time of Dying - where you get to hear how amazing Jimmy Page and John Bonham were together. Custard pie was my favorite. My Grandmother used to make it for me. I asked her for the recipe but she never measured anything. A pinch of this. A little of that. These days the only custard I can get is flan. As to what this song is about , I never tried to find out. It was one of those records that my cousin had stacked on the record changer while we were playing pool. It sure brings back memories of days past. As to what I have been finding out about the other kind of custard pie? Well.... how many hours. - On an other note when i was on a dart team, when someone got down to 69 it was called a Happy Meal.

I think its a harp or harmonica. Robert Plant the vocalist was also pretty handy with the harp. Who else here's "I chew on a piece of your custard pie" ? Great reaction Lex really dug this one. Interesting seeing the yin yang energy you guys have Brad a bit more chill and a thinker haha a bit straight laced and Lex the free bird just vibin' This is one of my fave and grooviest led zeppelin songs. It's the kind of song they could've made it a 10 or 15 min song, the verse, the breakdowns the jamming is so good here that I don't want this song to end

Custard pies are made with eggs, milk and nutmeg. My mother always made one for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Custard can also just poured into pudding bowls, no crust necessary.

"Crunch" or "Crunchy" is an actual sound effect that musicians can create with guitar pedals played through their amps. The pedal effects can be used with other instruments played through the same systems. Very good!
