Mist Survival is the very first, Early Access game that I ever purchased. The "creepy atmosphere" is The Absolute Best I've ever experienced in a game like this. The dev used to only have one character model for the infected, and as of right now, I believe it's around 5, not including the "special" toughies that walk around or can be found/stumbled upon. My very first "mist" scared the ever-lovin' POO outta me! I always go back to playing it from time-to-time, and it remains my favorite when I REALLY want to get creeped out! I love this game!!! I'm looking forward to the next update on the beta branch on 31 July! Thanks for posting this!!! RIBBIT!
Yeah I can't wait to see the new additions, it'll be awesome! It has a good creepy factor if you get caught in the mist, easy to survive if you climb on something, so I wish the Dev would add a climbing ability to some of the infected, and you need to hit them off the edge of whatever it is your standing on.... That would be awesome. Or maybe after a certain time, you'll see one of the infected bosses roaming towns lol
It's cheap! My biggest Co plants with the game are it's unattractive UI (although he shoves a lot in there so I don't know how he could make it look pretty) and the AI
Back 2 years ago this game was amazing. Then the Dev decided for some reason to delete the entire great map, and give us some tiny terrible map...It's a shame that he couldn't have added to the old map but instead deleted it and everyones saves. I for one, had a save on like day 60 something, and then the next update it was gone and a new map was there..still a lovely game but damn does the dev make some bad decisions.
I remember buying this game years ago after seeing the trailer on steam just as a way to give some support to the game dev but never actually played it until a few days ago. It's very obviously early access but for a supposedly single dev game it's promising. A shame that there isn't much of an online community for it and the game wiki is so outdated as to become useless as a source of information. I heard that the possible rescued npcs that you can recruit had their combat mode deactivated as of now since they kept shooting your own constructs and vehicles so they are more of a liability than help. Regardless I've got one of them so far and I hope more development on the npc mechanics come soon.
Yeah it is a shame, honestly. It's one of the first I covered on my channel. Pretty crazy that was in 2018....time flies. Honestly he really has the bones of a great game, if he could get attached to a publisher I think it would help move it along.
Completely agree. The world isn't engaging enough to be a single player game. It's gotten better, but compared to green hell or Fountain of Youth, it's bad. Coop would make it really good
some of these survival games look really good, but I find single player survival games to be dull and boring. the only exception i found was conan exiles and well...modded minecraft survival.
@@PathfinderPlays like this game looks great, no hate there or anything. I was looking at a bunch of survival games today on steam and they looked really good, then i saw it was a solo play, and i was more like, "why is this not multiplayer?" lol
This game is hot garbage and I regret buying it. Annoyed this channel talked me into it... Never got my money back from Steam. It's a broken mess that is literally unplayable. 10FPS, graphics popin, assets not loading... what absolute garbage.
