It was all going well until I heard her tell me, "I like the surprise...but it still hurt". I'm still holding back my tears when we arrived at my- our house, I didn't MEAN to hurt her. I know she is fragile, but I genuinely thought she could handle it. I'm considering to do these "surprises" less going forward. I could've handled it better. Aw man, I also wanted to pretend that I was being chased by a mafia member and we needed to immediately get out of her house asap unless we both get shot. There's someone I knew in primary school who was born a few hours after me, but technically the next day, so his is the 27th of June and mine is the 26th. Was sitting in reg at school one morning and people were talking about birthdays. They said to him "Oh your's is on Sunday isn't it?" and I just sat at the front of the class kind of listening waiting for the person I had gone to school with for 8 years and who's birthday is right next to mine to recognise that mine was going to happen. I didn't want happy birthday, or any attention at all, just acknowledging that it would be my birthday soon as well would have been more than enough. A couple other people knew but I wouldn't expect them to remember since I'd only known them for just under a year and it had been months since I told them when my birthday is.

I thought you may release something, I was at work for a long shift and I looked forward to it. Anyway, time to write my usual reply. :) enjoy. Get ready because I am feeling passionate. Well journal, Perhaps I took this prank too far, I was thoughtless and it was wrong. I will amend this next birthday, no pranks. Dinner, flowers, favorite drinks, everything and I will write a poem too. Yes that seems appropriate to make it up. She is my angel, my favorite after all.
