@@PastASMR I like to think that Tamamo no mae, rather than evil, may just be misunderstood. Just like with SCP 682, I see humans seeing a situation, immediately assuming the worst and immediately attacking.

very good points, i enjoyed reading your opinion on this. you are right in that fox spirits are known for being tricksters/pranksters, but at the same time, as someone who was backed into a corner like this... wouldnt you take a chance to get out of the hellhole you're in, even if there's a chance of her betraying you? after all... you have nothing else to lose anymore.

@@PastASMR Heh, a point that I forgot to mention but yeah, at the end of it all I'd have nothing to lose but much to gain for freeing her. A beautiful and dangerously strong demon fox for a partner/mate for life would be a great reward. Granted I would have to make sure she was up to date with the modern times, what to expect and all, and if I make sure any Yandere tendecies doesn't get too out of hand (like not killing unless it is self defense and it was absolutely neccesary) and of course the occasional reminder with my dear Tamano that we're together forever? I'd call that a win-win.

Which enraged her and call upon three of her spirits, one of them being a fox spirit (who possessed the mortal woman Daji) to end the King's reign. But she fell in love with both the king and his power, torturing all the people and bringing tyranny. After a long struggle she was defeated by the Tao Priest Jiangziya. While in the og chinese mythology she was killed by Jiang Ziya, it was believed in Japanese mythology that she fled to japan eventually and became Tamamo-no-Mae. TL:DR Fox spirit called Su-daji fucked up china, escaped to Japan, changes her name and tries to fuck up japan

To their surprise when the fox within the stone answers them, their visits were a daily occurrence from that point on. Eventually breaking the seal and releasing her because though they know the fox could be deceiving them, they'd rather take that risk then spend the rest of their life alone. As the dust clears and they behold Tamamo, she thanks them, before beginning to walk away, leading to the protagonist to ask if she was lying about being at their side, to which she replies she wasn't. "As I said, I will forever be by your side as long as you live, during conflict and peril, through joy and sorrow. The Insignia on your hand is proof of that vow." Leading to the shock of the protag upon looking down and realizing they now have an insignia, skipping the mark phase entirely. They collapse, and Tamamo disappears. Upon waking up and returning home, they are shocked to see that the broken seal was discovered, leading to a populace hellbent on finding whoever broke the seal. Despite their attempts to hide their Insignia, it is soon discovered, and they are established as an enemy of the entire world, and go into hiding. Eventually meeting a rebel group, who sought to change society and upheave humanity's lust for the power of the marks, and uproot the domination of those in power who wielded them. And so the thrilling tale would begin. "...And sometimes, when I felt as if I was about to give up, I could swear I heard her voice, pushing me onward..."

@@PastASMR I sincerely appreciate that. Honestly I wish I had a better life, one that wasn't the one I'm in now. I wish I could be in a different world, meet new people, see new things, and actually have a life I can be proud of, but..I know that's a fantasy..that might not come true. The biggest issue is $$$. I've tried a GoFundMe (twice actually), and both attempts fell flat. I try to work, but because I suffer with Autism, I learn skills at a slower pace then most people, and employers.., don't seem to understand that. Finding a job in my case, is like trying to find your favorite cereal, only to be told that it's been discontinued. People are just..so absent-minded about the struggles some have that deal with disabilities. It makes me sick..😣 I do however want to say, your ASMR vids are very relaxing. Truthfully, whenever I listen to one, I can feel I am having a conversation with the character in the thumbnail. Keep up the fantastic work ☺️
