When I’m fatigued I Justify shutting down too I’ll tell myself it’s late I found parking I might not find parking further up the road and I just shut it down and then it makes the rest of the week kind of hard because I gotta push super hard the next days lol so I feel you bro

Every flatbed company is basically same thing stick with P&S they will keep you rolling, equipment isn’t the greatest no tool boxes on trucks or trailers but they have steady freight and we don’t sit around like Melton 💯
I dont know nothing about otr but someone else strapping the trailer and tarping it. ( with not being able to actually see the straps and seeing if it was done correctly) That would kinda freak me out. Is that pretty normal ? It seems the liabity would be on you as soon as you left there yard
You are 100% correct. Most of the time they do a good job, and then sometimes they don’t. It’s our job to make sure it is secure. If that means redoing their work, then so be it. Which is why I don’t mind live loads. I do it myself and don’t have to worry about it
I know right! That shit pisses me off. Half the time these people preload, it’s not even legal or safe. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. Got tired of waiting. Lol
