You'd think all the American security in the US would get it right if that were the actual problem. People generally do whatever they're told to to collect their pay.
The receptionist was friendly and professional. The muppet was clueless, but hopefully Pilgrims will see this video and train up their staff to an acceptable standard.
Time and time and time and time again. Always non-British, they're always incorrect. If you don't understand our laws DONT come here, stay in your own country.
The comparisons always send me. "There's a women's toilet, you could be filming into the windows to see them pee" "Your drone could come crashing down onto a crane" "Your drone could poke an eye out of our health & safety manager on site" "Someone could be naked in there and you are zooming in on the pecker" The same could be said for the guy, he could be whipping out his chopper in front of female staff also but does it actually happen or are we throwing out hypotheticals until the cows come home?
Your drone could malfunction crash into the building and the battery explode and catch the building on fire forcing naked women in the bathroom to run out onto the street.
The question these people ask might as well be something like "Do you have authorisation to eat that packet of crisps?" - it is just about as relevant and condescending. The confidence these people show is staggering, despite having no reason to act as such. It goes beyond mere ignorance of the law and into arrogance. I know DJ can come off as passive aggressive when dealing with these people, but how else should we respond to such behaviour? It is not reasonable. I enjoy watching each and everyone of these people get soundly educated.
the difference is that it is now filmed by the public and shared. Surely you have heard of Jobsworths?? They have been trying to order people about for many many years, remember Park Keepers, shop Keepers, market traders, men in suits and ties, bus conductors, ticket inspectors, council parking attendents, community police. They used to have just a tiny enamel badge, now they have a safety bright jacket and a laminatated tag on a lanyard....
If you are going to live here respect our law and our people. Wouldn't dream of lecturing people if I lived abroad. Pilgrim's get a grip of your employees.
It is likely that recently they knew they didn’t know the law and so they took efforts to correct that. Whereas UK nationals assume they know the law and never bother to keep up with changes.
this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people ( include minors and staff )in public and in public buildings and government buildings , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950. as an example Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law
I'm not sure if that is correct. You can't fly a drone in Germany, you can't have a dashcam in Germany that records 24/7 and Germans can demand that their house is pixilated on Google street view. Germany has its own privacy laws which are respected by EU laws.
@@Englandfan91If you’re “not sure”, why post this drivel?! It took me three seconds to find out that you’re lying. The laws for drones are virtually identical. Maybe do a teenie weenie bit of research before you post such tripe. As for blurring your property the same applies in the U.K., most police officers & many others in similar roles do this. Some people remain uneducated 🤦♀️
@@Englandfan91 I just googled it and Gemini summarized the law for me on the first result. It is IDENTICAL to the UK laws for 249g drones. Needs registration number on the drone, needs insurance, and needs to maintain common sense distance from crowds. Literally identical. It's OK to be wrong, buddy.
@@Englandfan91 The German constitution, was adopted on May 23, 1949: was only originally intended to be a temporary framework until Germany was reunified. Are the pixelated homes owned by government employees i wonder ?
There are private buildings and people everywhere. They should think about what they are actually suggesting. You'd take a camera out when sightseeing in London and be arrested!?
Pay per mile (when it happens) has nothing to do with the Labour Government. As we all switch over to electric vehicles the exchequer will lose enormous sums of revenue (> £25 Billion) which is currently levied on Fuel. That money has to be made up somehow ... thus ... Pay per Mile The alternative being ???
@@JulieFromYork Oh dear. Explain ULEZ ! Labour money grab. The 'Alternative' ? Free Trade. What are these restrictions about ? 'Saving The Planet' ! Haha Where does all the money taken from drivers go ? Be honest.
Dj you should use the excuse that when you film Buckingham Palace that you film the soldiers on private property from the public path through the fence
I commented the other day while watching a U.K. audit. Don't remember if it was AB, BP, DJE, PA, or another. "Limey Local with his own ideas of what the rules and laws are in the UK, they never fail to entertain, do they ?" Be scared be very scared. The great pumpkin is coming!
Great video and autumn colours. Nice friendly guys during the e-bike chat. 👍⭐⭐⭐ Using that Pilgrim's guy logic, when the guy is driving slow down the street he could be stalking somebody.
That first 10 seconds of the video was the funniest I've seen for A while 😂 ooh a school, I won't be filming that one. Rides for 5 seconds. Here we are guys at the police station 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hes got 'Perk ' and ' Park ' mixed up , why do they think they know our uk laws , when they come to live in our country , learn the law mate , its legal 😊
I will never understand why explain or talk to idiots. It is not the cameraman's job to educate morons. I would stand there do what I want to, ignore everyone and not say a word.
The understanding of that young man is everything that's wrong today. It seems impossible for people to just get on with their day and leave others alone. People believe that they own the light that scatters off them or their precious buildings. All you are doing is gathering the last bit of energy from dying photons to create an image. There is no Pointing, Aiming, Taking or "filming into anywhere" as the light comes to you, not the other way around. Great job as usual DJ. Thanks!
The roof number is the force identifier. Most forces will also include a unique vehicle number and often a coloured symbol to show the vehicles function, traffic, response, armed response etc.
Keep an eye on that bike, I mean no disrespect to Noone, someone might not as nice as these gentlemen, thanks DJ for not filming the toilets, and have a great day sir, I have a very busy day but never to busy to catch my DJ audit video, great and interesting footage, love the scenery trees turning as ours are here in illinois
DJ get a t shirt, Sweat Shirt Hoodie Hat Made Stating: Yes I can Film Private From Public, Yes I don't Need Permission From The Company, You Don't Own The Air Space, Don't Call your Private Police Force As They Don't know The Laws. Great video
@@taniahall2370Top tip, if you're local to the area where he films, fast forward to the end of the video, see where he planks it, then go for it. You can watch the video later.
Love the bike. I'm suprised more businesses dont have media policies that make it clear to employees what the position is re filming from the outside or being asked questions by 'media' / members of the public. My business has had a policy on this for 20+ years, and we're a lot smaller than Pilgrim's Pride and many of these big name companies that you audit.
It's one thing to not know, though it would be crazy to think it would even be possible that it would be illegal, but to assume it is illegal is crazy. Is that a thing in his own country? That's a messed up country then if you can't record in public.
In the UK the law is somewhat different from the law in Europe. In the UK unless something is not allowed ( by LAW ) then it IS allowed. In Europe unless something IS allowed ( by LAW ) then it is NOT allowed.
Well when people are immigrants into a foreign land and they think that because they bought an enterprise in said country or brought one from their own country. Maybe they should start by learning the public laws and rights of citizens in said country first, instead of blabbering idiocies and non sense from their mouths!!! I live in Canada and was born here, i had worked with my dad since i was 8 years old, meet all of his customers and of all walk of life and every nationality as well. They have always been respectful, pleasant to talk with and they mostly all knew the laws and peoples rights in Canada and respected them. The only him and myself later in life we encounter frequently was from new arrivals to Canada and who just had started working a job!!! We had people like him who would come and accost us while working and asking us 20 questions, like this guy here, some ended being arrested, after attacking us because we didn't answer any of their questions and the cops said to them : It was in self defense, you threatened them, you damaged their vehicles, tools, threaten their lives etc. Those people were just uneducated, not knowing the laws in Canada and our rights!!!!! I am 57 years old and sadly with the influx of migrants here in the last 4 year of 4.5 millions migrants, we have had a lot of bad people enter Canada who are clueless what is being a Canadian to begin with. A lot of crimes, thefts, rapes, murders, accidents from people not knowing our driving laws or respecting them 😞
@@Fullmoonhowl101 " What are the laws around cycling on pavements? Both Section 72 of the Highway Act 1835 and the Highway Code suggest it's not legal for a cyclist to ride their bike on the pavement. Section 72 of the Highway Act 1835 prohibits “wilfully riding” on footpaths, which refers to the path at the side of a carriageway."
Funny how English isn't his first language, he doesn't know the difference between taking photos "from" private property, and taking photos "of" private Property.
Theres a mirider 24 out in grey, and orange , unfortunately only the handles fold its a bigger bike and a bigger battery travels 65 miles on one charge .😊
Q. When you unfold the aerials on the controller, should they not be at right-angles rather than pointing at the drone. For optimum transmission? Not that it seems to make any difference to your drones controllability (as you comply with VLOS), but I just wondered.
