Wudu before sleep is Sunnah, which the prophet Muhammad ﷺ told us to perform before sleep just like we perform wudu before Salah. The prophet Muhammad ﷺ also advised a companion to recite ayat Al Kursi before sleeping, and Allah sends a guardian while the person sleeps. And he ﷺ also advised Fatima may Allah be pleased with her to say subhanallah 33 times, alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times before sleeping. And there is also a Hadith in which it is said the prophet Muhammad ﷺ didn't sleep until he recited surah Al Mulk and surah As-Sajdah.

@@ibnamanot Insha-Allah. So if you collect all versions of Hadeeths of that incident you will come to realize this was a miracle of the Prophet limited to his camels of Sadaqah and not a general advise to the Ummah. This is similar to other miracles of Prophet such as his saliva being able to heal scorpion bite. It is a Sunnah but not applicable to rest of Ummah as it was a miracle limited to the prophett. People cant go around spitting their saliva on scorpion bites thinking it will cure it. The proof is the following: A) the people were shepards wirh their own camels yet the Prophet sent them with his own cames from Sadaqah. If any camel urine could be used he SAW could have told them to drink from their own camels. They later killed these camels so the miracle ended with their death. B) the people were shepards yet the Prophet sent them with his own shepard. C) the Prophet never drsnk camel urine himself nor did any Sahaba nor did they recommend anyone else to drink it as cure. D) some of the narrations say camel milk (and then the author adds.."and I THINK urine as well"...to imply he wasn't even certain it had urine). E) the so called scientific benifits of camel urine is all vogus data based on in-vitro lab studies which is BS. There are no reliable in-vivo studies showing benifit of camel urine over any other urine. F) we dont even know for certain which disease those people in Medinah had. Walahi the sheikh hit the nail on the head with this answer. The beginning I had certain doubts but when you learn the deen properly which I have been doing, subhannallah these doubts don’t really shake you and I thank Allah for this. When someone presents me with doubts the first thing that comes to my head is this is not true and why would I believe what a kafir is telling me about my deen anyway. When you go and research the matter subhannallah you actually realise these people have no clue what they are talking about. There’s certain “doubts” these kufar would present to you but if you do an in-depth research in to the matter it will actually increase your Imaan. You need to understand that these people are your enemies and they want you to be like them. Walahi knowledge is a blessing.

A detailed answer for punishment on apostasy As a non-Muslim, I find myself Intrigued and attracted to your faith. However, I find it difficult to comprehend how a man can be sentenced to death for speaking (Salman Rushdie). I would have thought that we as humans do not have that right to make those decisions, only God can. Summary of answer: Apostasy in Islam refers to when a Muslim becomes a disbeliever by saying a clear statement to that effect, or by uttering words which imply that disbelief, or he does something that implies that disbelief. Answer Praise be to Allah. We thank you for your confidence in us and for sending this question to us, and we appreciate your being intrigued by our beliefs and your eagerness to find out the answer. We welcome you as a visitor and reader and learner. What stood out from your letter is that you are impressed with the religion of Islam . This is a good sign for us and for you. We are happy for our religion to reach people like you who are seeking for the truth. Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us that this religion would reach all places on this earth. Tamهm al-Dari said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: ‘This matter (i.e., Islam) will certainly reach everywhere that night and day reach, and Allah will not leave any house or tent [i.e., all dwellings, in towns and in the desert], but Allah will cause this religion to enter it, and some people will be honoured because of it [by converting] and others will be humiliated because of it [for refusing to embrace it], and they will be ruled by the Muslims, an honour which Allah will bestow on Islam and a humiliation which He will inflict on kufr (disbelief).” (Narrated by Ahmad, 16344; classed as sahهh by al-Albani in al-Silsilah al-Sahهhah, 3) In your case, your admiration for Islam will motivate you to find out what this pure monotheistic religion teaches , and how it is in accordance with sound human nature and common sense. We advise you to completely avoid any preconceptions that may influence you and take your time in reading about the teachings of the Islamic religion . With regard to your question, “However, I find it difficult to comprehend how a man can be sentenced to death for speaking. I would have thought that we as humans do not have that right to make those decisions, only God can” - what you say is correct, because no-one has the right to condemn another person to death without evidence from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The ruling of execution because of a word that somebody utters is what the Muslim scholars call al-riddah (apostasy). What is apostasy and what constitutes apostasy? What is the ruling on the apostate (al-murtadd)? What is apostasy? Riddah (apostasy ) in Islam refers to when a Muslim becomes a disbeliever by saying a clear statement to that effect, or by uttering words which imply that (i.e., which imply disbelief), or he does something that implies that (i.e., an action which implies disbelief). What constitutes apostasy? The matters which constitute apostasy are divided into four categories: Apostasy in beliefs, such as associating others with Allah, denying Him, or denying an attribute which is proven to be one of His attributes, or by affirming that Allah has a son. Whoever believes that is an apostate and a disbeliever. Apostasy in words, such as insulting Allah or the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Apostasy in actions, such as throwing the Quran into a filthy place, because doing that shows disrespect towards the words of Allah, so it is a sign that one does not believe. Other such actions include prostrating to an idol or to the sun or moon. Apostasy by omission, such as not doing any of the rituals of Islam, or turning away from following it altogether. What is the ruling on the apostate? If a Muslim apostatizes and meets the conditions of apostasy - i.e., he is of sound mind, an adult and does that of his own free will - then his blood may be shed with impunity. He is to be executed by the Muslim ruler or by his deputy - such as the judge, and he is not to be washed (after death, in preparation for burial), the funeral prayer is not to be offered for him and he is not to be buried with the Muslims. The evidence that the apostate is to be executed is the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “Whoever changes his religion, execute him.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 2794) What is meant by religion here is Islam (i.e., whoever changes from Islam to another religion). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim who bears witness that there is no god except Allah and that I am His Messenger, except in one of three cases: a soul for a soul (i.e., in the case of murder); a married man who commits adultery; and one who leaves his religion and splits from the jama’ah (main group of Muslims).” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6878; Muslim, 1676) (See al-Mawsu’ah al-Fiqhiyyah, 22/180) Thus, it will be clear to you that execution of the apostate is something that is commanded by Allah, when He commanded us to obey the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority.” [al-Nisa 4:59] And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has commanded us to execute the apostate as in the hadith quoted above: “Whoever changes his religion, execute him.” It may need some time for you to be convinced about this matter, and for you to think about it. Perhaps you think that if a person follows the truth and enters into it and embraces the one true religion which Allah has enjoined, then we allow him to leave it quite easily whenever he wants and to utter the words of disbelief that put him outside of Islam, so he can reject Allah, His Messenger, His Books and His religion, and there is no punishment as deterrent, how will that affect him and others who enter the religion? Do you not see that this would make the one true religion, that everyone should follow, like a shop or store which a person can enter when he wants and leave when he wants, and it may encourage others to forsake the truth. Moreover, this is not someone who has never known the truth and practiced it and worshipped in accordance with it; rather this is a person who has known the truth, and practiced the religion and done the rituals of worship, so the punishment is no greater than he deserves. Moreover, such strong rulings as this are only applied to such a person whose life is no longer considered to be useful, because he knew the truth and followed the religion, then he left it and forsook it. What soul can be more evil than the soul of such a person? In conclusion, the answer is that Allah is the One Who revealed this religion and enjoined it. He is the One Who ruled that the one who enters it and then leaves it is to be executed. This ruling does not come from the Muslims’ ideas or suggestions. As this is the case, then we must follow the ruling of Allah so long as we are content to accept Him as our Lord and God. May Allah help us and you to do that which He loves and which pleases Him. We thank you once again. Peace be upon those who follow true guidance.

Bismillah I am grateful to be a Muslim and I thank Allah for guiding me trillion X. If I hadn't embraced Islam, I would lost my mind and uncertain about how to live my life. Islam has provided me with a clear path to follow from A-Z. Anyone who sincerely seeks the truth and learns about Islam with humility & good intentions can become a Muslim. I have explored all other religions and only Islam resonates with me the most because of its consistency and logical teachings. The #1 lesson I am constantly working on is to live for our Creator. If we want to avoid heartbreak and failure, we should not TAWAF around our loved ones, money, fame, and other worldly desires, we are created to worship Him alone. The #1 mind-boggling thing about Islam is learning about Allah SWT,His Kursi,His Creation&attributes etc...+ knowing about our Beloved Rasul SAW. 😭 He has the highest manner, Subhanallah I am grateful for FREE educations provided by Mufti Menk, Sheikh Mohd, Bilal Assad, Assim Hakeem, Yasmin Mogahed, Chowdary,Khalid Yasin,Yasir Qadhi etc. They have been instrumental in my journey of learning and understanding Islam. Even after 14 years as a Muslim, I still consider myself a beginner in this beautiful religion. The knowledge I have acquired thus far has brought me immense satisfaction, but I am aware that it is just a drop in the oceans of what there is to learn. Therefore, I continue to seek knowledge every day, recognizing that it is an ongoing process. Islam provides comprehensive guidance on how to live life. The humility & integrity of Prophet Muhammad SAW the story of the two men in the garden (Kahf), the stories of the Sahabas (both men and women), and the stories mentioned in the Quran, all deeply resonate with me. Islam teaches us that life is a test. When faced with difficulties, such as the loss of a child, Islam encourages us to be patient & reflect on the fact that others may have faced even greater hardships. For example, someone else may have lost ten children at once due to an accident. While Evil tells us this life is long, enjoy, keep partying, follow yourself, be a man, woman, or both or even a cat anytime you wish… Islam only teaches us the truth&this beautiful religion do not adjust based on politics, emotions etc. It is non negotiable, the Words of Allah is as it is. I sincerely pray this message ignite a fire within you, and may your thirst for Islamic knowledge be insatiable. I don't have Fb,IG,tiktok etc & Allah blessed me to do sincere charity of about 1M USD My faith is my priceless treasure, beyond any trade. May Allah have mercy on us all.

CONTEXT: In the Islamic legal system, Sharia Law covers laws for individuals, society, and the country. Every nation has its laws for capital punishment, and the country governed by Sharia Law also has laws for treason. It is acceptable for a person to keep their beliefs to themselves, and non-practicing Muslims are not punished under Islamic law. However, if a person converts to another religion, starts causing corruption, or commits a treasonous act, including divulging state secrets to adversaries, which could put the country in danger, the state reserves the right to impose punishment as it deems appropriate. Only the judicial branch of an Islamic state is responsible for observing and implementing verdicts according to Islamic Sharia Law. It is not the responsibility of individuals to observe laws meant for the state. If a Muslim is living in a non-Islamic country, Sharia dictates that they must obey the rules of the land.

Could you provide evidence for this specifically "However, if a person converts to another religion, starts causing corruption, or commits a treasonous act, including divulging state secrets to adversaries, which could put the country in danger, the state reserves the right to impose punishment as it deems appropriate." Does islamic shariah allow for capital punishment if the person abandons the religion and nothing else.

Based on some history books and based on the famous verse (no compulsion in religion) 1- What i understand is the war on ex muslims are not for them changing religion but after they change religion they tried to spread corruption like how the wanted to stop zakat(obligatory charity). 2- it is called a war for a reason, war mean 2 parties fighting each other , not just executing unarmed person minding his business And this is aligned with the Qura'an and the prophet laws of war 1- Allah don't like the aggressors 2- Fight only those who try to take you out of your homes, hurt you or fight you in your religion 3- even in a war/fight, we should not hurt the weak like children, elders, women, even plants and animals Religion is for God to judge and who knows if you killed someone who peacefully changed his religion after x amount of time, you might have prohibited him from coming back to islam In this case, you added one more person in hell as you see him deserve, you also aided satan in his mission to take us to hell with him like what sheikh sha'rawy said about killing sinners So yeah history can be a lie but the words of God will always be true I am not a scholar and I am still reading and learning but that is my take and Allah knows best

The Prophet (ﷺ) has commanded to grow the beard and to shorten the moustaches. In another authentic narration (Hasan) in the book "Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah" of Imām ibn Kathīr, the Prophet (ﷺ) said that Allāh has Commanded to grow the beard and to shorten the moustache. The correct opinion is to cut what comes below the handful of one's fist. This was related by ibn 'Umar, ibn 'Abbās and as well as from Abū Hurayrah. A major Tabi' also narrated that the companions would cut what came below the handful. The aforementioned is the opinion of Sheikh Al-Albānī and one can relate to him for evidences.

Backbiting is a grave sin! Most people do not know what it is properly! The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you know what is backbiting?" He (ﷺ) replied, "To speak of your brother that which he dislikes." A companion asked, "O Messenger of Allāh, What if it is true?" He (ﷺ) replied: "If it is true, then it is backbiting and if it is false, then it is a slander." The one who backbites another Muslim will be brought on the Day of Judgement and a portion of his good deeds will be given to the one he backbit. If one persists, then he will be bank robbed on the Day of Judgement with no good deeds left!

Allah knows best

@@999wishfrvr muslims are the only people who truly believe in their religion. They dont think of Allah as mere belief but as their creator. Judaism has death penalty for apostacy. Christianity didnt specifically abrogate this practice. But people today only folliw these religions in name. And hinduism is so confusing that its hard to get an answer from scriptures. But they dont truly believe in the first place. And buddhism doesnt even have God. So there you have it among the 5 major religions.

For those who leave the faith then lies , slanders and brings corruption to the land MAY be executed. So there are clauses on this ruling too. It’s not simple as that. That’s why you don’t see many of this taking place even during the time of the prophet peace be upon him

good answer. the only thing i would change is.....never speculate another person's intentions. some people just don't know how to ask important questions eloquently. people go to school for that or have training. she may have been nervous to ask such a complex question and did not know how to paraphrase what her friend had told her into a question. the girl might be afraid to ask questions in the future because of this. so next time....don't be super judgemental. I have a friend who used to be muslim and became an ex muslim. every time she tries to feed me her knowledge, I know to take what she says with a grain of salt. It also motivates me to learn more about Islam so I never end up in a situation like Sara and have doubts about my beliefs to the point where it robs me of my sanity.

That's elegantly put utter nonsense, speculation is how we prepare and protect aspects such as, not limited to knowledge. What you meant to say is, acting solely upon speculation is not rational and is harmful. Speculation is majority of the time gateway to evidence. If practiced properly 😊 So try to be more understanding about what you speak of, before you do...

[Quran 5:33] The punishment for those who fight God and His Messenger, and strive to spread corruption on earth, is that they be killed, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the land. That is to disgrace them in this life; and in the Hereafter they will have a terrible punishment.

I am not religious, but I love to engage with different faiths and some of my best conversations about religion I had with Muslims. It is a fascinating religion with a very interesting history. It saddens me that fanatics on both sides contribute to growing Islamophobia in the west instead of seeking dialogue.
