That guide was amazing! Calm, cool, collected as he managed six lines with experience levels across the board! Plus he took the time to educate, appreciate the fish, and protect the future. Really cool!
I love Ketchikan. Was there for 2 weeks, twice for work related stuff at the Coast Guard station there. Was going to move there for a possible job, but job never materialized.
Great video, great day, wonderful guide, good catch, such an appetising looking chow down on the shore, accompanied by those lovely dogs, and very healthy eating. Can understand that happy face full belly. Thanks so much for sharing. 👍😊
Thank you for your videos, they're not only enjoyable but informative. Thank you Jesus that you came up in my recommended videos to watch and I'm so glad that I took the opportunity to watch them. This was absolutely awesome!
Oh I don't do salmon either. I'm actually not big on fish. Maybe only eat a handful of types. I think that would be the only reason I wouldn't do that amazing looking fishing excursion. That looked just awesome!
So my husband and I went straight to Baranof website then straight to the grocery store because we're making that fish stew tomorrow!!! I can't wait 😋. Awesome video btw!!!
I definitely am doing this excursion on our upcoming Alaska cruise. We are cruising on the NCL Bliss. Was this an excursion you booked through the cruise line, or is this something you booked independently? I wonder if they have a similar one offered through NCL? Thanks so much for your awesome videos, we love watching them!
I've got an Alaska Southbound Cruise on Celebrity next year and I will be fishing twice. The first one will be before we board the ship likely out of Whittier and the second will be an excursion in Ketchikan. I did a land trip in Alaska last year after our cruise was cancelled and we were unable to go fishing as the weather kept us off the water the first day and Covid got the captain the next time.
We booked it with HAL. I don’t remember exactly what it was called but look for ‘savor your catch’ or private fishing, something like that. It’s a great excursion!
I just discovered your channel and I’m really enjoying it! We are going on our first cruise ever in June and it’s to Alaska. I would love to hear your thoughts on things you brought that you did and didn’t use and things you wish you would have brought.
Question for you, do they still allow smoking around the ship? My husband just retired last year from working on electrical systems on ships and he said Holland America always smelled of cigarette smoke.
What a cool fishing excursion! The captain was fantastic, knowledgeable and amazing at handling 6 fishing lines! This is one of the best excursions I’ve seen from an Alaska cruise!
my hubby and i felt that this was one of your best videos, great variety, not just food videos, but a whole bunch of things going on. we felt like we were there and omg, the fish looked sooooooo fresh and tasty. love that you had a personal chef to cook you an amazing dinner. also, we would love to see more of the food that you show. bryan (hubby) is always saying “show the food” vs the talk, haha.
@@mikedean8061 in Florida, if the charter has a valid vessel license or the captain of a boat has a valid recreational saltwater vessel license then the passengers can legally fish under the caption's/charter's licenses so that's why I thought it was weird that they had to purchase their own licenses for a charter. Like ya said every state has different regulations.
Hey know what I just had a brainstorm you know it would be so cool if you got up like a big convoy like take a year for everyone to plan for it and do like a big convoy and go to Alaska and go to a campground and everybody just kind a join together and do fission and everybody do like a side dish and that would be so awesome oh my goodness oh I would rent a camper to be part of that
Man you guys have to take and do like two months of a road trip to Canada and camp and get somewhere like ride on a river or not river but get where you can fish and just live there for like a month and just enjoy Alaska man that would be the ultimate and just blog every day that would be so awesome
My husband and I went to Alaska in May and went on a private fishing trip in Ketchikan that we had to purchase a license and ended up not catching anything because the captain had no idea where the fish were. My husband is an avid fisherman in the Gulf of Mexico and knows what he is doing. This captain ripped us off. This trip was quite pricey. Never again. I wished this excursion was offered to us when we went. Love to watch you two. I’m curious, you try all these different foods on your adventures that it makes me wonder….what do y’all eat at home!!! 😊
Oh I hate you had a bad experience! We had such a wonderful guide. We eat all kinds of foods at home too. There is a Mexican restaurant near our house that’s our favorite!!
EECC, You guys are making me want to go on an Alaska cruise next year! I love to fish but i dont like the cold weather... Awesome video! I just found your channel and subscribed!
Showing this to my husband ! We plan to cruise for our 25th anniversary and this looks like an excursion we would love except for the fact I’m allergic to tomatoes but I’m sure they would leave that off .
Guys, we are seriously considering an Alaskan cruise. Which cruise line would you really recommend? We’ve cruised Carnival & NCL. Being over 60, a relaxing venue is our vibe now!
Loved your fishing expedition. Would love to go fishing but not to eat the fish because my husband doesn’t like it and I’m allergic but it looks so much fun. We have fun through you guys. Thank you for your video.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
You both always have such a great time together. You live life with a joyful heart and great attitude! I hope one day soon we are cruising on the same ship. Keep doing what your doing, you both are awesome at it! Thank you for taking the time out of your fun to share with others. God Bless ! 😊
