Do ya though? I know the OCG still has Maxx C legal but it barely sees any play after that 2 day YCSJ so it seems that it has flopped. In the TCG we don't have Maxx C so we're not obligated to run the "package" hence we have alot more non-engine space and all this card to me is just a guarantee that my opponent Thrust will always be live and sometimes even Talent
Thrust is not really live and also thrust isn’t really played in decks except for branded and unchained. Also who cares about ripping 1 card if you draw 3 additional cards. Thrust and talents aren’t really an argument against this card. The reason why people aren’t running both in the ocg, is because you can not put 6 non engine spots simply for 1 card, because drawing both sucks and also the probability to draw Maxx c or purilia after you activated the other one, is just too high. So in the tcg, you will definitely play this, because you don’t have the maxx c. Of course if you have a choice between those 2 cards, you would always go for maxx c, but if you don’t have a choice, you would definitely go for purilia!
Meh, youre giving up valuable utility space for 3 for that? At best youre going to pull a handtrap. And if it resolves and you get a HT, then they could crow or called by your HT now youre -2. Id rather keep utility and focus on better extra deck monsters.
What does crow on your handtrap do? Also why would you be at -2? You discard this and go -1, then they normal summon, you draw ash, so you go +1. Then you discard go -1 again and they called by the card…. So you are at -1 again. You don’t loose a card, also you benefit from activating handtraps, because you then end up with less cards in hand at the end of your turn, you need to shuffle back! Also everyone would immediately activate called by on this card, so it’s pretty much always a bait for called by/crossout because it can make you draw into more handtraps!
