You should some time go to Lapland in March or early April. Then there is much more snow and things like driving snowmobile are much better. Also plenty of sunshine then,

Yeah it looks many of the foreign tourists visit Lapland in mid winter, usually spring time would be better in many ways.. more sunlight, more snow, less cold

This passed year has been very VERY exceptionally warm. The summer temperatures started in the beginning of May and lasted till the end of October, which makes it the longest and also dryest summer since ever! Usually there should be an allmost full winter in Lappland by that time you were visiting there, meaning an ice thickness of a lot more than just ONLY 11 cm! :-) Also this little snow is far from normal... Let's see if there will be a Finnish standard WINTER at all this year! ;-) And some say there is no global warming...

A hot Karelian Pie with "munavoi", a slice of pork and cheese on top. Best breakfast on this planet! ("Munavoi" is a hot spread made of butter and crushed hard boiled eggs.)

Wow! I watch your video all the way. It looks very nice and lots of fun specially getting on the huskies sledge and seeing the reindeer. I really like your blue eyes and the dog as well with the blue eyes. I have been always fascinated blue eyes since I was young.

Hey, we dont have very much snow here in Rovaniemi. Normal we have like 35-50cm in mid december. I'm the local. Did you visit Napapiiri Santa Claus village?

Don’t put make-up on Youre face can freece cause it has water in the products Ive bein in swedisch lapland , Lannavaara , was stunning not so busy as rovaniemi And weve seen the northren ligths 3 times , We were so lucky and have seen lots of falling stars so stunning , we had the tipi aswell and the northren ligths Anddid the husky’s and snowmobile , Amd we e bein to the reindeers and the sami ppl xxx

For snowballs temperature needs to be perfect. For you it might have been too cold. And that snowball you throwed in the city centre was just a iced snow full with rocks from the ground when snow have been plowed
