I'm still struggling with the concept of giving without expecting anything in return. Because if I know that God will bless me by giving, then I know that I'll get something in return, and so I give to get something in return (blessings). But if I give money without buying anything, it's because I want to help someone first. But when I know that it will be returned to me by God, I lose that pure innocence. Of course, I can say that I'm not attached to the result, but I know that I'm saying it in the hope that there will be a result. And even if I don't have any results today from what I have given in the past, I continue to give to help others as much as I think about God's promise...
Kevin, can you please say more about giving. There's something I've been wondering about. Before I knew this principle of giving, I've already been giving. And it was a "more honest" giving, more from the heart, more because I truly wanted someone to have something, more because I truly wanted the other to be happy. Since I know this, giving has become a bit more of an "investment". In short, before it was almost entirely about the other, now it's a good bit about myself (because I want to get back). I'm wandering if that's the "Shadow side" if you will of giving and not "real" giving anymore.
Sir kind suggestion, you should go to other people's podcasts. It will make nuclear diffrance, when their audience will see how High value information you provide they will migrate to your show and will be lifetime thankful to the host for inviting you in their show , it will be win win situation ❤
This talk today. I feel this!. I’m not saved, but I’m grateful. “Above All Things & Be In Health.” Agreed. I now know how these TV evangelists are abusing ppl. But, at the same time, people are abusing themselves. Because they have no effective strategy. Even God told his son Lou (Lucifer), “Not In My House!.” So u can forgive, without putting up with it. For me, “Being in the zone,” during prayer, works for me. I dig that!.
Thank you Kevin!!! Have you ever seen the movie called “The laws of the sun ? “ It’s a great feeling movie and I’d like you to check it out. Much love ❤️ let’s talk soon.
Oh Kevin, here are the two greatest commandments: *hint* they have nothing to do with money, dear Guru. "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. ' This is the greatest and first commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Implicitly they do " But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and ALL THESE THINGS will be added to you." emphasis on the word ALL and THINGS
Hey I know this is random I always thought I’m an impatient person Can’t stand driving, or even waiting a few seconds for a car to pass withiught getting hot I started playing this videogame and holy I was yelling and screaming and raging But after about a month of this daily. I think it’s gone because now I’m not that bothered by it anymore
Kevin question about giving. Is giving only in the form on 10% of income or is giving in your time contributing to people also good? Or should be both?
All forms of giving are the same, but time is worth more as it’s a part of yourself and monuments can be given to a homeless that you II hope gets food but at times it can go to drugs or alcohol. Others that aren’t at that level could just waste the money. Time given can’t be misused
@@jonathanblack1416 thank you. This makes sense as I also look to time as more valuable as money. According to what Kevin said that also means 10% of my time is as same as 10% of money
@@AlexTaskov007 Awesome Alex, glad that helped. Or confirmed you own sense and feeling that was corer from the start. Good example also of how we need to listen to our gut intuition with more trust in it.
KT, we love you but your quoting of the scripture from Gods Word is simply misinformed. Isaiah 54:17 ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper..’ With respect to your earlier reference about us prospering and being in good health just as our soul prospers’ are not the words of Jesus but of John decades after Jesus’ death and resurrection. 3rd John vv2 ‘Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.’ KT you’re a master in business and success but please be careful in misquoting scripture. There are excellent books that teach and defend the Christian faith by the world authorities on both the Old and NT’s alike. Unlike the Islamic faith and there are enormous differences despite your opinion that essentially religious relativism is true. Many of the world’s religions may teach similar concepts but at the end of the day they make contradictory claims so it’s logically impossible for them to all be true. They can all the be false, but it’s an elementary logical fallacy to claim they are all true. It’s self defeating and ultimately incoherent non sense. Please reconsider teaching a Sunday school class unless and until your skills in exegesis and hermeneutics are greatly improved and informed. We love you and are praying for your salvation.
@@MMm-zr5yx MMm-zr5yx its religious relativists like you who are the problem, unfortunately. How about we make a bargain, shall we? I won’t be a religious fanatic (something I’ve not been called my whole life) but for the sake of argument I’ll use your term. How many of the world religions have you studied? Can name one difference between say Christianity and Islam and can you explain why there is not one scholar that exists in this world who is not already a Muslim that holds to their radical beliefs? If you’ve never thought about these questions or cannot easily and effortlessly answer them, then I’d challenge you to look into some of those things before you go around spewing your clearly ignorant and appallingly stupid remarks. But God loves you too even while you remain mmm-zr-5ylqgtyxiliveinmymomsbasement. Feel free to get back to me anytime you even one meaningful thing to say. I’d also recommend the book Skill with People and sunlight. Cheers 🥂
Thank you for your insights about giving and forgiving. It made me look at the Scripture about the fig. I watched recently the movies you suggested. Yes Man -My favourite part was Jim Carrey’s experience during the seminar.😄Haha.Saying yes within reason can have a huge impact. Sound of Music - Do Re Mi was the song I can relate to when I was young. As an adult watching it again, the song Climb Every Mountain sang by the nun is more heartfelt.
Like this and I'm not being mean directly just saying within this teaching it's a false teaching here. Sounds great tho! In OT their shoes lasted 40 years too. People get sick primarily due to lack of proper minerals, vitamins and such from the womb to whenever. Also as far as giving, israel was a theocracy which we are not. Now, Galatians 6:6 is applicable given if the host is giving good knowledge and we are being blessed then by all means give which I do and have.
