The woman was sentenced to 12 months of prison suspended for two years, 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay Mr Sharma (the victim), who was still recovering from his injuries at the time of the judgement, £500 in damages. She has also been banned from driving for 3 years and would have to take an extended driving test before she would be allowed back on the road. I commend the driver who followed the criminal, who displayed a full respect for his civic duty - to report a lethal and dangerous driver who must come off the road. well done. I pray the old man is ok and that she is behind bars.
She didn't spend any time at all in prison. She got a suspended sentence, community service, a small fine (£500) and a driving ban. Given the date of the conviction - she could very easily be legally driving on the roads right now.
In reality if it was the police theyd either be in mcdonalds or assisting some dodgy bailiff with the removal of goods from some poor grannys house who couldn't pay their council tax.

The two people here deserve some sort of award for their actions. They didn't fixate on getting her on film, something too many people would do in that case. They split up and made sure the guy got the medical care he needed, and they made sure she didn't get away. They stayed calm, acted intelligently, and basically saved the day here. My heart goes out to the victim, and I'm glad he was OK thanks to you guys. On the off chance they read this, you guys have my respect all the way from America. Well fucking done, you two.

Lane splitting motorcycles generally make things safer and less congested.l for the rest of traffic, though the riders themselves are obviously less safe. Yes, a pedestrian could still be seriously injured in an accident with a motorcycle. That said, a motorcycle has less mass, occupies less area, and is far less devastating if your were actually “run over.” For pedestrians, more mortar cycles driving like maniacs probably would be safer than the same number of cars driving like that. ;) Obviously, nothing justifies what she was doing regardless of what kind of vehicle. Even a tank on the foreign front of a war zone wouldn’t drive like that! The woman should be in jail.

What people forget is that there's no evidence presented in the video that she actually killed him. The guy assumed it after she hit him but really he didn't know for sure.
