It is so much better with 63 or 65mm touring car slicks on it. Just some cheap aluminum wheels with pre glued slicks from Amazon. 1 paid 17.99 for them and it turns this thing into a grip machine. With the 65mm you have to trim the body, the 63mm you just put them in and rip. Try rubber slicks you won't be dissatisfied. The stock rubber tires are too firm to grip.
I had the MT version and it was bonkers. Very tough and crazy fast but didn’t handle nearly as well as the HBX 16889pro or the HBX 903a. As soon as I saw this platform lowered with drift tires I knew it was going to handle much better. I feel like I got to get this! The MT did standing back flips on 2s lol😮😅
I just ordered one of these, and since this is my second hobby grade ever, i (for the first time ever) paid $18 for the 2 year damage insurance. I know this is a basher, but I'm sure I'll get my money's worth, as i drift like a drunk 7 year old suffering from vertigo. Nice video, it looks like you found a great place to drive.
I’ve bought 2 14301 trucks and neither would drive straight didn’t matter how much I adjusted the gyro. It would wobble and then just shoot off to the left or right and crash. I also bought the H16BM did the same thing wouldn’t drive straight. The only one I bought that will drive straight is the H16PL. I returned the others. Maybe I’ll buy again once newer models come out.
I had 2 as well, the gyro makes them wobble left to right, making absurd corrections to your small steering inputs. Turning the gyro all the way off will fix it, but then you can't really drift. None of my MJX car\trucks would drive a straight line, but this car has gyro problems that make it wobble back and forth too. I personally am done with MJX, nobody tells you the problems in their videos, my spur gear stripped completely in 4 weeks on 3s. The wobble problem is awful when trying to drive straight. Their truggies don't drive straight, diffs stripped in 2 of the 16th scale, on the 14th scale the steering linkage and body screws fell out even after LocTite use. MJX is barely hobby grade. I got an Arrma Granite and a Felony instead. Both cost a lot to maintain, but they don't break every time I run them either. 😮
@@Boogie_the_catYou must have had some bad luck. The reason people aren't talking about those issues that you are talking about is because no one else has those issues. I have two of the trucks I have the MJX buggy and the monster truck and they all drive straight and none of them has broke yet and I beat the crap out of them. For some reason you got lemons. And for the gyro you can't turn it up the whole way or it will wobble. 15 20% is all you need and it won't wobble. How you got lemons like at is beyond me because I love my MJX hyper goods. And if I had problems I would tell you for sure.
where in the cape was the new skate park 2.0 how did you find it or hear about it how come you haven't been to hobby quarters in a while me and my mom where saying that the other day== this is her son typing this message to you ? hope to hear back from you RC GUY.
So like I had said in the video This is a skatepark that I have known about for quite a while just never bothered to come here because it's always loaded with people but that day in particular was perfect because it was going to be a change in the weather and it was really early in the morning. As far as Hobby Quarters goes work can take up time as bills have to be paid or there's no RC GUY GARAGE without money😜👍💯👊
