Here's a theory I have about why Minato looks older than the average 14 year old and even possibly Itachi and Kakashi as well. The Akimichi clan gave them a sort of "growth food pill" or T/hormone booster
@@Mac_Boosted Mina told looking older than a 14 year old does not need a theory, come on dude people think way too far into this s*** and it gets so stupid. He looks like he's older than a 14 year old kid, because he's drawn in a fucking anime. Wow look at that, no theory needed! Now we can move on! Put the theory energy towards cool shit like kurama and hima or whatever it may be this is why the space gets flooded with bullshit
@cedriccharles3557 Nah Minato was ready to scrap with "madara " lol probably didn't care and why should he - he was blitzing the world since he was a teen
@@cedriccharles3557 Obito did not win the fight infact the moment Minato figured out what kamui is he Imidaitley one shot him and whilst madara beats Minato it's not easy by any means You see Madara admits to Tobirama that he was always the fastest of the 3 deu to his teleportation and infact only catches him cuz of sage mode that he took from absorbing Hashi Alive Madara doesn't have that luxury vs Minato who has a better version of ftg , better body flciker and sage mode himself plus had a rasengan that is actually powerful enough to hurt Madara Madara really only wins deu to a larger chakra pool + susano Outside of that he could absolutely loose to Minato if he gets caught Minato has surprisingly high ap + combined with his speed , sealing and intelligence he is a actual threat . The difference really just is Madara is a reincarnation and a uchia and Minato is just a prodigy with no speacil nothing
Editor note from Kishimoto seemed that Minato in his original vision should have been strongest ninja ever. We got many "what if..." in naruto series about him basically would have been that guy if he lived. It's his highest score ever, being genius in basically everything, creating or perfecting jutsus, exceling in everything and in last shot we got basicaly confirmed by Kurama that he only felt that presence in Hashirama. So give all of this I dont think he was scared at all. I would go as far that if he had survived he would just teleported to Obito like he did 20 years later and bodied him.
We should have gotten Minato: Previous Generations. So much could have been explained and shown. Sakumo, Uzumaki clan extinction, Hanzo of the salamander, a look into the Uchiha, expand on the Hyuuga, Saanin, Hiruzen at his strongest, Granny Chio... there's so much... No one wanted Boruto: Next Generations...
Just a neat parallel I noticed: the mirroring between Naruto and Minatos social circle. They both wanted the same thing, to save everyone they loved, but they both did it differently. Minato basically solo'd the world and ultimately failed while Naruto accepted the help (rather reluctantly at first) and succeeded.
Saying this when Minato COULDNT get help by anyone cuz there literally was no one strong is so weird He got help by the Third and there literally wasn't anyone else available
Wtf are you talking about?? Minato played the hand he was dealt. He never made a choice to NOT accept help. You’re literally delusional if you think this is a good analysis of the two characters
@@phillyanonymous You don't think he could take Pain? I actually think he could have beat them if he went instead of Jiraiya. I mean, he was able to figure out Obito's ability as soon as he began fighting him. Surely he would be able to do the same with the 6 Paths. I think his arsenal would be better to go against Pain, because he could just teleport back to Pain if he got pushed away and teleport away if he got pulled. He is also a perfect Toad Sage which was key to dealing with the other 5 Pains. The only thing would be, would he figure out they were being controlled by Nagato. And I don't think Rinne-rebirth would have even been needed since I don't think Pain would have been able to do his Almighty Push, so no need for Naruto's talk-no-jutsu
Personally I loved the one on Kabuto. He had some great insight on him. I'm happy to see this series back though because it's probably my favorite content he makes.
Minato is also one of the few characters, maybe the only one, to have gotten new material since Boruto released, where it wasn't set in Boruto's present. I think at the time he was doing these he mentioned something about holding off on Minato because of the upcoming one shot. Clearly a good idea since he referenced it so heavily here.
I always thought Minato big reason to his story was to show no matter how strong/righteous/kind/etc you are, you can never do everything on your own. Minato (my favorite character) was definitely no failure but lacked surrounding himself with a supporting cast to help him see out his dreams. Always taking on all the problems himself and stretching himself too thin. Hence why Naruto succeeded so much in his dreams, having the strength of his father but also the understanding from Kushina that friends are what will help you bring your dreams to reality Kushina last moments with Naruto “Don’t forget to make friends as well You don’t need a ton of them, a few is fine as long as they are ones you can really trust”
This is such a stupid fucking analysis . He literally made the call to leave the safety of the village to the third while he fought obito , this was the correct call to make in that situation since he CORRECTLY deduced that bringing obito to the village would only cause even more chaos on the battlefield and that given obitos skill set he was tailor made to defeat him and he did. That’s literally him putting faith and trust and those that he surrounded himself with. He didn’t die because he didn’t have a strong inner circle . He died because the person attacking the village knew EXACTLY HOW to most effectively strike at him since that person was his former student that he thought was long dead. I don’t want to offend you but your take is some crackhead level shit
Interestingly, this was also the same thing Itachi last tells to naruto after escaping the Edo tensei. To not do everything alone and to take support from the comrades. Curse of the geniuses I guess.. Minato and Itachi.. Tried doing everything alone (although Itachi was actually truly alone), yet limited by the burden of responsibility they took upon themselves..
I miss your older content like this and your what ifs. The way you tell stories & analyze narratives and characters is truly unique & unmatched. Ik you have a lot on your plate already but, ever considered making a page where it’s not about the numbers but about what YOU wanna post and talk about? And f a schedule. Just upload at your own leisure. Your true fans will be there and with massive support.
What if kakashi protected kushina he needs to do that would the outcome be the same for Naruto would minto and kushina will still die I feel like if he was there to things would of been different
Minato is the embodiment of what flash is. You can be the fastest person ever, but you can't save everyone. You can be the fastest person ever, but you're still not fast enough. Take things slow, and keep your expectations realistic.
@@mookiestewart3776 minato is my favourite character of all time chill out. I love him, but that’s what they made him to be. He did his best. But wasn’t able to save everyone even though he wanted to
Here’s a theory = Who taught Minato flying Raijin? The fact that he can use it confirms he’s a Senju with a large chakra pool. But who taught him it? A secret technique and basically a forbidden Jutsu… Jaraiya who happens to have white hair, who happens to be a powerful Ninja… who is likely a descendant of Tobirama. My theory of Jairaya is he’s a privileged rich boy (based on the way he acts as a kid) of Tobiramas lineage… he WOULD know the powerful jutsu such as Flying Raijin. The only reason he didn’t use it himself… He focused on mastering Toad Sage at a very young age. Then fixated on writing books when he was older… Minato. A Genius who can undertake master level chakra control… a likely descendant of Senju… who was trained by Jiraiya… can spam Flying Raijin… a powerful jutsu created by Tobirama…
Except that Minato personal bodyguard where though Flying Raijin so it can't be a secret technique but Naruto stole the scroll where he learned multi shadow clone jutsu which was created by Tobirama so it's possible that same scroll also had Flying Raijin which is my theory on how Minato learned the jutsu considering that Minato and Naruto use forbidden justu that were created by Tobirama they probably stole his scrolls Aldo Boruto did learn Flying Raijin in Two blue Vortex and I heard the Jirayas clone though I'm but he used different jutsu or similar jutsu that Jiraya uses and sorry for dismantleing your theory btw God bless 🙏
No? There's like 9-10 people who have a run-on-sight or kill on sight order against them 1. Minato 2. Hashirama 3. Madara 4. Naruto (i think) 5. Sasuke 6. Hiruzen (in his prime was said to be stronger than Tobirama so I believe he would have a Run on Sight against him by enemy nations) These are the ones I can think of. As of right now there's 1 and it's Boruto. He has a kill on sight order from every village.
@@_1Guy1how do you even state your opinion as fact? There's canonically only 2 ninjas in history to have had a flee on sight order and it's Minato and Shisui.
Love that you're getting back into this series. If you're taking suggestions, maybe you can do a you know nothing on Asuma Sarutobi Anko And, Kushina herself
Im convinced that manga and anime characters either have no bones or can move them around, cause we see shit like minato getting a HOLE through the chest where his spine is and is completely fine a few days later
25:35 I love the idea that Minato literally did everything he could to be in two places at one time only for his son to be everywhere at once during his war
27:15 also I’m sorry did I miss this info?!?! Because y is there no theory about someone on minato’s guard being the one that survived and taught boruto the flying raijin.
absolute chills when you said we dont have to be strong enough to safe everyone, just the one person. and I think you are absolutly right. But man that went straight into my soul
Incorrect. Minato states right after he asks obito if he was he madara he states “No madaras dead after all” then mijayo says “well it doesn’t matter who you are” minato also calls him “masked man” instead of madara which means he didn’t think obito was madara. He only thought obito was madara because the only person who used genjustu on 9tails was madara
@@DatsLegitnessnah. even during the war arc Minato still thought he fought and tagged Madara. he's even surprised to know that it was actually Obito that fought him during Kurama's rampage.
@@gunplamaniac8500 nah cause when he talked to Naruto after nearly breaking the seal of 9 tails Minato calls him the masked man.... When Minato got to the battle Feild during fourth ninja war.. obito was already exposed and told Minato it was him that day.... He only thought it was Madara for a split second like buddy explain
@@Stpierre422 read chapter 637. Minato used FTG in hope he'll get to Madara faster since he thought he tagged him before. he sliced Obito and realized it was actually his student that attacked his family. dude thought he tagged Madara.
FINALLY. This is a video I've been waiting for for so long. Also, fair enough, Boruto's been pretty awesome lately. Can't wait for the next month myself.
Don’t ever give up brother! We all appreciate what you do and what your doing for the fandom of BORUTO , being able to to provide that solid connection through your videos , similar interests, and generally staying positive 🎉 .One Love
I saw "you know nothing" straight got to check the date and the minute posted. How much i'm excited is Beyond reason ! Thank you for your AMAZING content ! You've outdone yourself once again ! 🥰
I thought you were going to conclude that Minato was meant to be a juxtaposition of Naruto/Hashirama/Ashura and a reflection of a version of Sasuke/Madara/Indra. Minato spoke a lot about teamwork and trusting people and your comrades being important, but his actions reflected being "the one" with the power to do everything himself. While Minato was a better moral version of the Indra actions, the core of it was still "I" can protect.
Please keep doing more of these . They’re what made me start watching your videos and the amount of lore I find out about these characters are always FIRE
This is by far the best video you have ever made. Love how you were able to show us a different side of somebody we thought we knew so much about. "he was able to save the one person that could save everyone" is the only line you will ever need to describe Minato. Awaiting the next You know nothing about...... PS- I love your boruto content too! I would love to work with you on something!!
I also noticed that the one draw back to Minatos flying raijin ability (the inability to be everywhere at once) was solved by Naruto’s main ability, clone jutsu, and is thus able to be everywhere at once, this especially important during the 4th great ninja war. Naruto truly is the perfect product / update to minato/kushina.
This was a beautiful analysis of Minato. I was always intrigued by him, particularly after Ultimate Ninja 3, but now I have a new and much deeper appreciation for him 😊🙏🏼
The conversation between kakashi and young sasuke will always hit hard, where sasuke is all "well ill kill everyone you love and see how you feel". And kakashi is like "hmm, great idea. Too bad they're already all dead". And then seeing sasuke face just drop... ugh, always hits home
So the core message of Naruto is not hard work, perserverence, love or whatever. It is no one person is strong enough to save everyone. Even Naruto himself had Sasuke, Sakura, a literal army, a dozen teachers and ten literal and figurative monsters of Chakra. And still lost people.
On your You know nothing series, my personal favorite is Tobirama. He became my favorite character on the series and will motivate me on my life as being an educator or teacher. For minato, I remembered being like him to the woman that I have treated as my Kushina.
minato would have literally been the strongest character if he put kurama inside him(or if simply obito naruto shit didnt happen) he had everything naruto had (sage mood huge amount of chakra ) but he also has great battle IQ and more importantly flying raijin just image minato + baryon mode +flying raijin vs isihiki
Theory: I don't think that a UZUMAKI could not figure out how to create a full Jinchuriki but instead being the 9 tails with his massive chacra could not be control and the reason it work for Naruto was that it was only half of Kurama.
Just a quick comment on the Warby Parker plug. Right at the end when you said, "Maybe. Just maybe, you can look this good." It made ma think of the Pixar movie "Cars". When Lightning McQueen says, "...so with Rust-eez, *under his breath* and a lot of luck, you too can look like a winner. Ka-chow."
4:23 Random thing, heer in Brazil, that's a law. If you buy something remotely, be it via internet or phone (only internet matters now of course). You have all rights to turn it back within a week, doesn't matter the reason. It's a very nice law to consumers, although, some use it to exploit companies, which I hope don't happen much, because I would hate to see this law being taken from us.
It makes my heart warm hearing about struggles that minato went through. People overlook him because there are more broken characters but Him being strong af and still not able to protect the ones that he want is Heartbreaking. STILL MY FAV CHARACTER OF THE SERIES.
Everything that happens in the entire series seems to boil down to one central theme: Bonds between people, how sturdy they are, and whether they are a strength or a weakness.
I think my brother will like these glasses💯 he has always gotten these bulky-easy-to-break-off-of-one-drop, type of glasses… now he’s always liked the thin structure types like the one you showed when you spoke of the “structural integrity” of the glasses. Plus I can switch them out whenever he gets tired of whatever pair he got? Definitely gonna look into this and try it out 💯
Lol why r u guys hating? This guy spends the majority of his time giving us content. Now that ye has blown up and has gotten good sponsors he has hate in his comments? Honestly keep doing it because that just shows him he is successful. @nc if you actually read these negative comments i hope you understand that ppl r gonna try and bring you down. You are in the big 3 right now you naruto explained and 🏀s deep. Im happy you are making your money and will continue to watch every video you push out.
Minato's death brings to mind a Tupac quote... I don't remember it verbatim, but it was something along the lines of "I'm not saying that I'm going to spark change in the world, but I guarantee you I'll be the one who sparks the mind of the person who WILL bring change."
Actually a theory like this also makes the anger that obito had toward kakshi make sense. Obito sacrificed himself for kakshi only for run to technically do the same. With that and minatos inability to be there for them when they needed them… obitos motivations to even somewhat follow madara makes more sense.the day he lost run was also the day he realized that none of the people he love and knew were the Rosie image he had for them and thus his sharingan is one based of disassociation which makes Kami make even more sense on why he got a power like that
I have missed this series deeply. Listen while I’m at work I could go a whole day about “how I know nothing about this Naruto character, but I’m gonna learn today”
I was thinking about trying to watch boruto again, which is when I rethought about your channel. The first thing I searched up was "You know nothing about..." and you popped up again. Very glad you did one on Minato, since both he and shisui were my top 3 favorite characters yet both of them were well... dead pretty fast.
Minato was a Speedrunner, and it wasn't a simple any% life, he did all achievements, fame? he was a war hero; professional success? he was Hokage; family? he had a loving wife and a son with her; power? he not only was feared by his enemies, but also basically could defeat the strongest Bijuu. As soon as he got the last achievements he peaced out and got his time for world fastest all achievements life.
THE ENDING WAS BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED. THAT LINE. “He saved the one person, who could and did save all.” BEAUTIFUL NICK, I KNOW I DIDNT SAY IT RIGHT BUT AAAHHH
