I'm sorta a beginner when it comes to using a sewing machine, I've been a beginner for 20+ years lol, but now I'm paying way more attention to things like that little black button. I never knew it was there till I saw ur video, so thank u for new and super handy information 🤔☺️🤣🤗

Thank you so much for this, I have that on my presser foot & the instructions in the manual confused me. Now I know what to do with it & how to use it. Usually when I sew bulkier area's I've always just put enough layers of fabric either in front of or behind the presser foot to level it & kept sewing. I'm going to give this a go next time. 🙂💖

Wow awesome 😁. Had always just use a cardboard to make up for the height difference.

That's a great idea! Somebody also suggested using folding scraps for the same thing!

Cool, what's the name of this foot? I'd like to get myself one. 😎

It is normally labelled as the zig zag foot. Just double check that it has the button, because not all zig zag feet have the button. :)

I swear mine just doesn’t work 😢 I’ve watched so many of these videos and no matter what I do the button doesn’t stay and even when pressed in it doesn’t level the foot, it’s driving me mad 😅
