@@crylisss no, never says pain, he always says hey, check the you know your right vocals only track, but honestly i reckon pain would of been better :)
ONLY A STRANGER I see the point but wouldn’t “I have never failed to feel pain” as a nice transition into the chorus make more sense than “I have never failed to feel hey”
That intro is so nostalgic. The sad part though is it’s almost impossible to replicate because it involved using the bottom strings under the bridge which can be hit or miss depending on the strings :(
I will never bother you I will never promise to I will never follow you I will never bother you Never speak a word again I will crawl away for good I will move away from here You won't be afraid of fear No thought was put into this I always knew it would come to this Things have never been so swell I have never failed to fail Pain Pain Pain You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right I'm so warm and calm inside I no longer have to hide Let's talk about someone else The steaming soup begins to melt Nothing really bothers her She just wants to love herself I will move away from here You won't be afraid of fear No thought was put into this I always knew to come like this Things have never been so swell I have never failed to fail Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know you're right You know your rights You know you're right You know your rights You know your rights You know your rights Pain
This is so heavy it sounds like the guitars have been tuned down to B, so it kind of sounds like Kurt used a baritone guitar or a 7 string in this but in reality he didn't. Also, it now kinda sounds like Krist is using a 5 string bass. The range of the guitar with it being pitched down sounds so much wider than it was in the original and I love it, it sounds so much grungier than anything else I think I've heard. Thank you for this, it's incredible
The words in this song are really interesting if you listen to them carefully...This sounds like a devorce/"retirement" song...And this was the last song Nirvana ever recorded together before his passing. Makes me wonder...
Ok. Here is my last comment on this. Anyone who doesn't hear the lyrics "Hey, you'll know you're right" from this slowed down version is either in denial, a slave to Courtney's published lyrics, or just deaf.
The lyrics in this song are indeed very interesting... if you listen to them carefully, it sounds like a "retirement" song and this was the last song they ever recorded together... He did not commit suicide, he just wanted to devorce Courtney (i will crawl away for good). Also in the beginning he says he wont bother or follow her, he will move away from here, and the steaming soup against her mouth and nothing really bothers her and she just wants to love herself(classic Courtney). He wanted a devorce. I think he also says something in an interview that even if they would devorce with Courtney, he would try to stay in good terms for Frances sake... so Courtney did not want a devorce, because she would loose almost everything, all of the money, and then got rid of Kurt. Courtney also talks about being "tired" with Kurt, in her documentary Montage of Heck... its also interesting that Montage of Heck and Soaked in bleach came out the same year.
lol. Someone please tell me what’s wrong with me. I’ve been so emotionless lately idk why. I feel and fear nothing. I don’t know why. I tried searching on google one of my biggest fears and I didn’t care. What’s wrong with me. I feel nothing. But in the end I like this version of me. I used be so weak this shows a strong side of me.
