The AGDQ Mirror's Edge one was absolutely a bit. The runner was in on the joke, they were just making fun of the "glitchless" category in Mirror's Edge, which is actually full of glitches.

Right, my understanding is that they both felt the arbitrary declaration of what was a glitch and wasn't a glitch for a "glitchless" run was pretty silly, so they decided to do a bit.

When they had the "Could you stop" thumbnail on, for the agdq clip, i could feel a black hole form in body due to the cringe that clip contains. Also, the dudes on the couch and the guy running agreed to rip into the fact that he was running a glitchless category. Even though the run itself contains a ton of OOB exploits. It's a stupid category and they know it.

A bit of context about the speedrun cringe clip. Both of the guys were friends the runner and the guy commentating him. He's entirely joking and the two are on good terms; he's just deadpan poking fun at the ludicrousness of the 'glitchless' category in general, not the streamer abiding by its odd ruleset.

The two guys on the speedrunning are close friends. They are joking all the time that run. But in the community everyone know there are friends and there was no rivalry or bad feelings. Speedrunning are less rivalry and more respectful since there is not an actual "1v1" in that situation.

12:00 Actually, the situation with the Mirror's Edge run is that the runner and the roaster are best buddies in real life and they decided together beforehand that he would roast the shit out of him live. It just happened to end up looking a lot more meanspirited than lighthearted on the stream.
