I remember the episode when Jack was taking his final exam and Dean Travers thought Jack was fooling around with one of the female students, and says, "What's the matter, Tripper? Two girls not enough for you?"
The dumbfounded stare Dean Travers gives Jack after he says "...I don't believe in biting off more than I can chew" kills me everytime, I fall over laughing. Remember this when I was a kid.
When I moved in with 2 sisters...my straight-laced christian dad loved "Three's Company"...and as we were moving my stuff in...he pulled a Dean Travers...the only time his stoic mask slipped...and I loved it...;)

This reminds me of me having two female roommates just like Threes Company in the 80s, and my dad totally freaking out. My mom didn’t care, ironically it was my dad going ballistic. My telling him I was an adult paying my own way didn’t go over too well. What was cool was me being good friends with both of their boyfriends. Never had a problem with either one of those guys.
The loaner did emphasize on jack's two women's roomates living together with him,that's why he asked if jack needed more amount of loan needed.He's a kind of loaner knowing the nescessary amount loan should be given.
