Performance at the 2009 Maastricht Vrijthof concert, featuring all of André Rieu's soloists: Mirusia Louwerse, Carla Maffioletti, Carmen Monarcha, Platin Tenors, Gary Bennett, Thomas Greuel, Bela Mavrak.
Hallelujah, never I say never shall ye ever walk alone whilst walking by faith, for He who is faithful and true shall indeed see you through, I witness to this fact, I been through hell because of my love for Jesus and true enough He was there walking beside me and I came out of there completely refined, His grace and mercy held me close every step. Jesus is so faithful and so true, truly there is no end to the love He has for us all who just simply believe
This song is inspiring and powerful. Seek God and believe in Jesus and God will walk with you always and you will have eternal life after this life on earth. May God bless America always.
A very great reminder of keeping our faith and "hope" in the Lord. I truly believe that He will grant our hearts' desires if we lift it all up to Him. Dear God please hear our prayers.
Remember the men who gave us this beautiful music: Rodgers & Hammerstein for CAROUSEL. In 1953 I sat in the Theatre Royal, London and was transfixed by this georgeous song echoing through the silent theatre - a magical experience and re-created by Andre Rieu , a man who I adore for bringing me music that I played on a violin, and is dismissed these days in favour of endless POP music. Superb Andre and the vienesse audince who appreciate fine music. BILL, Hull, England
I have lost count of the number of times I have seen Carousel at the theatre, and each time it touched my heart. This song makes me cry every time hear it, so beautiful and moving. Everyone should love music it's good for the soul, well I think so anyway! beautifully sung here, thank you Andre XX
Andre Rieu man of music. The creator of an orchestra that brought music in its finest form to the people. The music he wishes for all to understand and love. He encourages audience and orchestra interaction to promote music of excellence in the world. Bravo.
Wow, so powerful! With faith and hope, we are never alone. Someone can always be our salvation AND we can always be someone's salvation. What an incredible world, when we are there for eachother.
Saw Andre March 18, 2013 and was blown away. This was my second concert and I, could find NO fault in this concert at all. Andre is a consummate showman and performer. His orchestra is magnificent. His soloists are superb, especially Carmen Monarcha. My only regret was that Carla wasn't there as well. If you have to beg, borrow or steal the money to see Andre, DO IT. As for the poor shlubs that find fault with anyone and everything, may they just dry up and blow away.
nakaka-iyak na awitin..hindi tayo mabubuhay ng mag-isa sa ibabaw ng daigdig na ito..you'll never walk alone in this world..so love each other..we have only one life...
What a wonderful rendition. Especially the young couple at the end is so cute. (Though I have to say; the version of thousands of football supporters is still unbeaten)
❤❤❤❤What a simple person! How little is left to turn into land And with what helpless sounds it rustles, What saves and protects life... "Told me it's nothing, I just shouldn't be upset if I find out that not all people are like that. If I thought.." "Remember, good manhood is better than great manhood, good manhood is better than good filial piety..."
When you walk through the storm, keep your head up high and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm there's a golden sky and the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dream be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone.
This was my graduation song and my inspiration to recover from my breast cancer experience. It gives me the courage to hope to enjoy living, despite adversities anfd short falls. God bless you.
This is the most exciting music I heard of André Rieu's orchestra, looks like a heavenly choir, very impressive. Congratulations to the author who wrote this song, which was also recorded by dozens of singers, you can not be numb to feel the music and lyrics. Speechless...
God has said,“I will never leave you; I will never run away from you.” So we can feel sure and say,“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. People can do nothing to me.” Hebrews 13:4-6
We need one another. We are Social Animals by our very nature. Our friend can give us so much strength to bear our burdens. A retired Catholic priest in Canada.
Music is a universal language that speaks to the heart. Music knows no human barriers- anyone can hear the message, especially in such an inspiring, uplifting, unifying song as this!
Roll on December 2013 can't wait Andre is coming to my home town Yipeee, not into footie at all but this is a cracking song, anyone remember Michael singing it in the tv programme Benidorm in the Neptune's club, brilliant for a kids voice
I love this song. Remember asking my voice teacher if I could change the words from "hope in your heart" to "Christ in your heart" which she allowed...brings tears...beautiful song. This was years ago when I was in my mid teens. I sang it for special music for church, again years ago.
wonderful singers and words in the song. As many of us have heard before if lucky and still need to be reminded and for you that are hearing for the first time i hope it helps
If thid duesn,t move you then you are Dead.......I Stood on Liverpools Kop many years ago and experienced it there...... Andre and guests do a superb renditiom here..........
I often enjoy this touching song by Sissel, but indeed this performance is also absolutely excellent !!! Wonderful voices and a great orchestra !!!!Thank you so much for sharing, lovely greetings Lailah
I'm a Man United fan, and I like this song. I wonder how many Liverpool fans actually know that this was a Rogers and Hammerstein musical showtune from 1945, BEFORE Gerry and the Pacemakers recorded it and BEFORE Liverpool FC took it on as their club's anthem. Loads of other teams have adopted it as their theme as well. How original.
Thanks for your beautiful thought! The first time I thought of the lyrics as religious, but, yes, indeed they certainly can be taken in your sense: we have each other; we can even be someone's salvation! A retired Catholic priest in Canada.
@George Grzesik ,i also played this at my wifes memorial service may 19th 2012 and most of the people there started to cry when it played ,so now it had double meaning to me now
I always loved this song and its message it brings. How 18 people can dilike this song is pretty amazing to me.I thought overall it was to theatrical with the fireworks and all but if it was at the end of the perforamce its ok. Iwas touched to see all those people singikng along with the performers it was great.
