Love this! I think I will also try and stamp a one or two word note on the mechanism so as they open the card...it's revealed. Or maybe a a smiley face, etc.
Is it possible for the cake to be centered in the circle when the card is closed? I really appreciate how so many of your card designs do not require specialty dies. There are some objects I know I will never make enough of in paper to justify having a die to cut them. Cake or any kind of food really is like that for me. Being able to build cakes out of basic shape dies or easy to cut shapes is a useful skill for me. This video made me realize how many border, strip, and similar dies I have that would work well for decorating a cake. I could create a pretty fancy wedding cake just from my stash.
