its half past eight in the morning.. I’m on my way to do my exams, smoke weed before that. And I’m in love, this song, this feelin’.. DAMN YOUR RIGHT 👌🏼
Hannah Morgan For real, their first three albums are three of my favourite albums of all time but I'm really not a fan of Cavalier Youth and this new stuff
YMAS never disappoints. A different sound for each album, but an extremely likeable sound nonetheless. Thanks josh, dan, matt, max, and Chris for keeping it real.
Robert Young If you take it for what it was, and ignore the fact that it was a You Me At Six album, then yeah. It was good. But it just wasn't good for them. It's the same way Risk was a great stand alone album, but was a terrible album for Megadeth. It was just... wrong. haha
Wait up for my call Cause I want it all I've chased for so long My time has come I don't say much With poise or grace I'll come of age In this town on this day The wrong song, the wrong place To say this to your face I'll come close, I'll come here Come clear That look in your eyes Says you're [?] The wrong time, the wrong place To say this to your face But I want you when I need you Every single night and day Keep your cool [?] And I want you when I want you Every single night and day The right time, the right place To say this to your... Cause I want you when I need you Every single night and day
Love all your styles, new and old. To those saying this is 'disappointing' or 'not YMAS' then... do you not appreciate how hard it is to be successful in this day and age? Music is competitive. They're exploring and trying out new things - not to absolutely everyone's taste, but you can't always expect them to stay in the same style. This might just be a breakaway to test new audiences. Much love to YMAS and all their songs, new and old
I feel unsatisfied when the song ends, it lacks maybe 30 sec to feel complete, maybe some more expanded instrumental parts. But can live with this if there will be some longer songs on their new album :)
Honestly love this song (and loved Night People). This does sound more like their old sound, quite Little Death. Hoping that Night People is more Sinners and less Cavalier Youth (even though I did like CY).
I just got goose bumps! this is different but so refreshing and soo damn good! loving that style of music hopefully more songs on the album are like this! sounding amazing so far!
A lot of people are complaining, but the truth is a band can't stagnate and must evolve their style. Yes, it may sound a little generic but they're not gonna sound the same as they did when they started. I've loved ymas for 7 years and yeah, sure I love their old music because that's what I grew up with and loved, but I also realise that they're not teenagers anymore and we don't stay the same forever.
I don't want to sound ignorant but this song reminds me of punk-rock, somehow. Just a shade, but that's it! I LOVE this song, more than Night People, it's catchy and everything and I like this evolution and this always trying new things with bringing back the old sound too. Love, so much love for you, guys! Good job! ✌❤
***** Yeah, I believe that because they sound like they're catered to stadium-filler crap they had on Cavalier Youth. Just like the whole _"We are believers"_ chant in Lived A Lie. Not trying to knock them, I just personally prefer their old sound.
