After years and years of watching, a book I bought finally made the Top 10 lol. I’ve been watching multiple ASM 19s for a long time now and as soon as I saw that tweet from MyTimeToShineHello, I figured I better get a copy now before it goes up even more. I ended up getting the 5.0. Mac/Scorpion is such a cool character and I hope that we see more of him in live action soon.

I think you might be overlooking the the Nostalgia and iconic image on ASM 19 bringing vibes from that 1960's cartoon. I think that goes a long way if keeping that book relevant

Thank you for disclosing the grades and percentage of appreciation. My co-worker who is into collectibles told me to always buy a 9.8 for investment purposes but I don't think it's very black and white when it comes to margin appreciation. Sometimes the lower grades appreciate at higher percentages compared to their 9.8 counter parts probably because the customer base for 9.8s are smaller since the lower grades are more affordable. I just bought my first graded comic book CGC 9.0 for a very affordable price. I see more 9.0s within what I think is affordable.

The best bet is to get a 9.6 cgc , instead of a 9.8 because the looks are very subjective and they look identical in appearance

I would say always buy a 9.8 for more modern books. 10-15 years. But I understand why people say only buy 9.8s for the 80s and onward. There are so many copies. If I can't afford 9.8 I try to go for a high grade newsstand.

I had an ASM 300 CGG 8.5 with a cracked case from 2014 that hadn’t been cleaned or pressed. I cracked it out resubmitted it Baltimore Comic Con.

For New Mutants 98, it's jumped because of Liefeld signings which have been finally getting loaded and shipped out. I sent my books in back in April and they will be here tomorrow (Fri Oct 13). So I wouldn't say CGC is "turning around books so fast". Yes they are caught up, but there's nothing magical about their current ToT.

Wow. By this time you should acknowledge promoting speculation involving a Sony project is to proceed with caution at the very least. EVERY film outside the Spiderverse has had delayed release dates, followed by poor reviews and performance. Bloodshot. New Mutants. Morbius. The Ghost Rider films. Do you honestly believe Kraven will be any different at this point?

Ikr, im checking my Penny's for any rare ones to trade 😂 I still cant believe I dont have one from when I was a kid and recently someone here was moving and owned the book and didnt really seem to have any attachment to it so I gave him a fair offer and agreed, but when time came to seal the deal he did a 180 and changed his mind. Oh well, still on the hunt!

So skewed now from all the crack/clean/press resubmits. I literally sent two NM 98 slabs in for crack/clean/press two years ago. They both came back with a bump and new certification numbers. Guess what, their old certification numbers are still on the cgc census. They didn't delete the old data!
