Yep 👍🏼 I knew a young girl who was shoved into a cement truck by someone not paying attention, hitting the back of her car. Killed her instantly. We both worked at Montgomery Wards. It was sad not to see her bouncing around anymore, with smiles and energy, like good teenagers do. Now I always leave room in front of me when driving. When someone’s at a stoplight, I don’t pull right up to the back of their car. I leave room in case somebody hits me. I can turn my wheel and go in a different direction. More importantly, I really do Pay attention to my surroundings, after that, not just when I’m in a vehicle.
So sorry about this loss. Life is precious and every loss is saddening. If you’re interested, I have a rule for stopping distance I’ve been doing for 40 years. I stop where I can still see tires touching the road of the car in front of me.

I don’t get that comment about the Uber driver making the pastor nervous (who picked up the pastor past midnight and drove him all that distance and got him to his destination safely) Do people of different ethnicities and religions make the pastor nervous? Why?
