if I had to make a fears to fathom story I would make it based on this dream I had where a giant squirrel was stalking my friend (I couldn’t tell if it was a real squirrel or if It was a person in a huge squirrel costume) so my friend warned me then the squirrel appeared in my driveway and started coming closer and closer until my mom and the squirrel had a knife fight in our driveway. Then I woke up and proceeded to get scared by a picture frame I thought was the squirrel. Sidebar: this should have just been a romance between connor and jack

There is a fire lookout I stayed at once when I was younger, also in the Pacific Northwest. When we arrived there was a guest log where you could write down some stuff for the next people. Predictably, someone had written a horror story about being picked off one by one by some creature. We thought it was fun! It stormed the whole time, sadly, and one night I heard heavy footsteps circling our tent (my cousin and I were in a tent on the ground, while my dad and his gf got the actual lookout to stay in). I also heard and saw something press in the side of the tent. I tried peeping outside but couldn't see anything, and was too scared to actually open the tent. I have always explained it to myself as deer licking moisture from the rain off the side of the tent, but I have no way of knowing what it was :) anyway! I had that in my mind the whole video.
