Thank you Jason for recommending Christie’s jewelry book. She was a dear friend of mine. Yes, she was a jewelry historian and shared a wealth of knowledge to everyone she met, esp. her devoted students. As a friend we shared many years of shopping, learning, traveling together and she was so much fun to be with. Some of my jewelry is in her book. I have and use all of her Warman’s guide books. Her passing was a huge loss for the antique jewelry community. We all miss her … and it was so nice to tune into your fabulous and informative channel and hear you talking about her with the respect she well deserved. ❤

I so appreciate the knowledge you have about the Native jewelry. I am a jeweler (an old one) who works on and collects native American jewelry and get upset when people call all beads that are silver Navajo pearls. Ebay and other sellers advertize so many pieces as bench beads (even machine made) when they are not. Luv your show!

Hi Jason, if RU-vid has proven anything, it is that there is a strong audience and love for authenticity, and that includes human scale and complexity and that content makers are enough, in and of themselves, that their humanity is worth celebrating and following. Also, your elevated knowledge and use of language does the subject of your videos the honour that the work deserves and that the artists who design/make the work is honoured too. That depth of knowledge is from years and years of collecting and learning. Your channel has followers for intrinsic reasons, that being the shared love.

I would like Pecan and Hazelnut, fine grind. If he doesn’t grind the beans, I’ll pick up a grinder. I will start with 1 bag each, then see how long they last.
