You keep saying that you would jump or run at rates it's already used to wich is why your body has no reason to adapt, to my limited understanding, if you lift as heavy as you can, the body adapts to it so its no longer a 1rm and is now maybe a 2rm or a 3rm and i assume the same happens with jumping, if you jump as high as you can the body adapts and now your jump is a bit higher but then if you jump fatigued wouldn't that be like doing 5x5 with weights? doing 1rm maxes isn't the only way to get stronger and lift more weight so even if you aren't jumping as high as you could if fresh, wouldn't submaximal jumping have some benefits, atleast wouldn't enable you to jump higher when faitgued even if it still isn't as high as your true max jump? I understand that for the purpose of increasing your max vert training fatigued is not ideal and since im not an expert i don't know so sorry if it's a dumb question it just sounds to me that maybe it should help atleast in some way.
