@IfILovedYou7 Me too (loved him since I was 6 yrs old.) My Pop was a real fan and got his albums soon as they came out. I was just about 6 when the purple album came out (Songs for Young Lovers). Every time I hear "Violets for Your Furs" it's like a time machine bringing me back to that time. Had a HUGE crush on him. Still kind of do. Glad you enjoyed it.

Can you get this version of the song with both Doris and Frank singing? I've found her singing it alone and him singing it alone, but not this exact version, even on the "Young at Heart" album. Any thoughts? Thanks!
My question exactly! It's hard to believe that there isn't a duet of this song by them, at least to my knowledge. I am surprised to learn that this duet isn't even on the Young at Heart album. Possibly, they were signed with different record companies at the time. I don't know. But, if you find a copy, would you let me know? Thanks.
