IN THIS VIDEO:
I am one with god…. No you’re not.
You need Mary and Jesus …. No you don’t.
The Gospel cuts through confusion!
Was a pleasure to hit the streets of Newcastle again today! And as always It never ceases to amaze us just what happens on an average day as you go to share the gospel.
First and foremost I want to acknowledge what the Lord is doing in the streets but also in the believers.
Preachers are being raised up, young Ethan is a great encouragement, but as are those being encouraged in the work!
We are seeing people stepping out and wanting to join us, come hear the word in person and come to faith in Christ! All Glory to God alone.
But on the flipside of that there are also many who not only deny Christ but intentionally try to restrict the gospel going forth. Today we saw a little glimpse of that man proclaiming to be one with God and sinless and another “kind of Catholic” man causing much destruction seeing that Mary was not only sinless but is required for salvation.
With These matters there is no room for compromise they must be rebuked in full truth and full love.
We pray that if you’re reading this you are found in Christ, encouraged and Reassured in the simplicity of the gospel.
As always we like to keep it simple direct and full of Grace here so big thanks to everybody who shares our vision! We press on🇬🇧✝️
Love to you in Christ

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭5‬, ‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ .

I urge you to read the early Church, and you will come to notice the belief that you can't use intercession will be foreign to what the first Christians believed, matter of fact, it came 1500 years. If you follow Christ, you must also follow his Church that he established on Peter that the gates of Hati will not overcome.

@@cjk3922 the “Catholic” Church originally set up meant universal church. I still hold to that however… what we see now in the Catholic Church isn’t that. nowhere do we see in any early church teaching that Mary was or any saint was required for us to have a better standing or “more likely to be heard” by God. Although Iv studied much and am fearful before I preach the word of God incase I bring error I going to need a Catholic to be able to explain this verse in context for us all here.

There is only one mediator between Man and God. The Catholic Catechism clearly states four times that Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and Man (Paragraphs 618, 956, 1544, and 2574)😂😂 Christ's role as the only mediator is that he sacrificed himself for the remission of sin. The Catholic Church has always believed that Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and man. It is the death and resurrection of Jesus alone by which people are saved. In fact 1 Tim. 2:5-6 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”1 Now let’s take a look at what St. Paul wrote in the preceding four verses: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” (1 Tim. 2:1) St. Paul is telling Timothy and all disciples of Jesus Christ that they are supposed to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanks on behalf of all men. In short, Paul says Christians are to play a mediating role. Next verse, picks up after “for all men”: “For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” (1 Tim. 2:2) St. Paul is making clear, not only are we to make prayers of intercession, supplication, etc. on behalf of all mankind, but even those in authority over us, such as kings! Why does St. Paul exhort Timothy and all Christisns to play this mediating role? Verse 3: “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” (1 Tim. 2:3) Who is “God our Saviour”? Jesus Christ, of course. Paul is saying quite explicitly that the mediation he is exhorting us to make “is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,” in the sight of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So now we get to verse 4, which tells us why Jesus Christ would desire this from us: “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”(1 Tim. 2:4) The reason we ought to make these various prayers of mediation is because Jesus Christ desires, “all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” And now we come to verse 5, not cherry-picked out of context but within the context of St. Paul’s first letter to Timothy, chapter 2, verses 1-6: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Tim. 2:5-6) In short, 1 Tim. 2:1-6 instructs all Christians to mediate on behalf of all mankind through different types of prayer, which are offered through the one mediator Jesus Christ. And in order to assuage any doubt about this, St. Paul adds: “Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Tim. 2:7-8) So is St. Mary, Jesus’ Mother a mediator via Jesus Christ? Are the other saints in Heaven mediating on behalf of those on earth, via Jesus Christ? John 2:3, 5 gives a good example of Mary playing a mediating role in Jesus’ ministry: “the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine…His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” The Book of Revelation suggests the saints in Heaven also play a mediating role: “and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,” the martyrs. (Rev. 20:4) And even moreso in Rev. 4:10-11, “The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” And quite explicitly, Rev. 5:8, “and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.” And so, whereas Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and man, St. Paul correctly understood that all Christians are called to share in this mediation of Christ through the offering of “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks…made for all men.” (1 Tim. 2:1) Christ is our one mediator/intercessor, yet, St. Paul commands all Christians to be intercessors/mediators. Then notice the first word in verse five: “For there is one God and one mediator…” And then in verse seven he says, “For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle.” What is an apostle if not a mediator? The very definition of apostle, according to Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, is “a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders.” That’s an essential part of what a mediator is. In short, St. Paul says we are all called to be mediators because Christ is the one mediator and for this reason he was called to be a mediator of God’s love and grace to the world! Is this a contradiction? Not at all! The fact that Jesus is our one mediator does not preclude him from communicating this power by way of participation. The Bible also declares: “But you are not to be called Rabbi, for you have one teacher, (Gr. - didaskolos) and you are all brethren.” This text cannot be any clearer, yet James 3:1 and Ephesians 4:11 tell us we have many teachers (Gr. - didaskoloi) in the Church. The key is to understand that the many teachers and mediators in the body of Christ do not take away from Christ as the one teacher and mediator because they are, in a sense, Christ on this earth and they serve to establish his offices of teacher and mediator in him. As members of the body of Christ graced with a specific task by Christ they can say with St. Paul in Galatians 2:20, “It is not I, but Christ who [teaches] in me…” Christ is our one mediator/intercessor, yet, St. Paul commands all Christians to be intercessors/mediators. Then notice the first word in verse five: “For there is one God and one mediator…” And then in verse seven he says, “For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle.” What is an apostle if not a mediator? "I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings, for all those in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man, Christ Jesus." 1Timothy 2:1-5 Jesus is the one Mediator of our salvation, our only Saviour. But He is not our only intercessor, as the whole passage above clearly indicates. So the one passage that fundamentalists have used to deny intercessionary prayer, when read in context, actually backs up intercessionary prayer. James 5: 16-18 " ...The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain upon the land. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit." So we see that intercession strengthens prayer. And the more righteous and faithful the intercessor is, the more powerful the prayer. BUT THAT IS PRAYER ON EARTH. I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT PEOPLE IN HEAVEN CAN NEITHER SEE US OR PRAY FOR US. That is a recent, man-made doctrine, with no authority behind it. Hebrews 12.1 speaks of "a great cloud of witnesses" who surround us, and who consist of the faithful holy ones of God. Many examples of these witnesses are given in the preceding Chapter 11 of Hebrews. Later in the Bible we see this vision of heaven: Revelation 4.4: Surrounding the throne were twenty four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. Revelation 5.8: ...and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. Seeking Mary's intercession probably dates back to the earliest Christians. One of the oldest Christian prayers recorded in writing, the Sub Tuum, from the 200s AD, is a prayer to Mary: We fly to your patronage, O holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, But deliver us from all dangers, O ever-glorious and Blessed Virgin! BUT I DON'T NEED MARY WHEN I CAN GO DIRECTLY TO GOD. Why not say "I don't need the rest of my family as long as I have my father"? The Church is a single body; the different members interelate and rely on one another: "The eye cannot say unto the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" (I Co 12:21).😜😜

Today there are so many Protestant churches because there is so much different interpretation of the Bible; there is so much different interpretation of the Bible because there is so much wrong interpretation of the Bible. And there is so much wrong interpretation because the system of interpreting it is radically wrong. You cannot have one fold and one shepherd, one faith and one baptism by letting every man and every woman distort and pervert the Scriptures to suit their own pet theories. In our day, there is no whim, fad or fancy that some one does not claim to prove from the Bible. Almost any man or woman is conceited enough to set himself up as a competent interpreter of the word of God. "I think the Bible means this, therefore it does mean this," is their modest position. These men and women want it thoroughly understood that our forefathers in the faith were all fools that for the last nineteen hundred years, the Christian world was in inky darkness. With them, however, light has come into the world. VARIOUS INSTANCES Some, like the early heretics, will prove from the Bible that Christ is only God and not man. Others, like modern Unitarians, will prove from the Bible that Christ is only man and not God. Some denominations will prove from the Bible that in the New Law, Christ shared his priesthood with NO ONE. Others will prove from the Bible that in the New Law, even the women are priests; hence the name Presbyters or priests, from which "Presbyterian" is derived. One sect will prove from the Bible that baptism is unnecessary for children, but is necessary for adults. Others will prove from the Bible that baptism is necessary for no one; that it is only a ceremony, an initiation such as is required when one joins a lodge. Campbellites or "First Christians" will prove from the Bible that to be really baptized, one must be totally immersed in water. Others prove from the Bible that the whole thing is unnecessary and ought to be abandoned. Russellites prove from the Bible that there is going to be a millennium, a thousand years when every one will get a second trial. Calvinists prove from the Bible that a large part of mankind do not even get a first trial, but are predestined to damnation irrespective of their merits. BIBLE IS MISTREATED Some sects prove from the Bible that eternal punishment is going to be meted out to nearly every one, but the little handful of their particular false sect is going to escape. But others prove from the Bible that everyone is going to be saved. To even murderers, adulterers, and those who rob widows and orphans-and never repent-will Christ hold out His arms and say: "Come, Blessed of My Father, and possess the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." Reduced to practice their theory means this: Read the Bible and believe as you like; if you like Martin Luther's theory, follow it; if you prefer John Calvin's Christianity, embrace it. If you think that Campbell, or Dowie, or Mrs. Eddy, or the Adventists have "discovered" the truth, have succeeded in doing what Christ must have failed to do, then take them as your guide. If the theory of none of these persons suits you, make up one yourself. RECENT FALLACIES Mrs. Eddy will prove from the Bible that man is all soul, the body is practically a delusion, and does not really exist, "Bible Students" will prove from the Bible that the soul is all delusion you really have none When you die, your soul knows not anything: the soul which God gave Adam was only air and nothing more In the Bible, we are told to serve the Lord in fear and trembling and so we have the shakers, the mourners and the weepers. Again in the Bible, we are told to rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. And so we have the singers and the jumpers and the rollers. Surely you would think that there is a sufficient variety to suit every one, but it seems not, for new sects are springing up constantly. All these claim to prove their version of Christianity from the Bible; all these are willing to swear that their little handful are the only ones who are right and that every one else is wrong. Christ's Church for nineteen hundred years was a complete failure, but fortunately they have finally come to set it aright. Meanwhile the Bible itself warns us: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. but . . . shall heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." (2 Tim. 4-3). Again, referring to the epistle of St. Paul, the Prince of the Apostles tells us: "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also other scriptures, unto their own destruction." (2 Peter. 3-16). CHRIST'S TRUTHS CHANGELESS For whosoever preaches any other but the accepted Christian faith of past centuries, by that very fact proves himself to be a false teacher, a false prophet, who as Christ says, "Comes in the garb of a shepherd, but inwardly is a ravening wolf." The true faith must be and necessarily has been believed, as St. Augustine puts it: "Semper et ubique;" i.e. always and all over - by at least the vast majority of Christians. Of that accepted Christian faith, therefore, we can say what St. Paul did of his own teachings: "Though an angel from heaven preach to you a different doctrine, let him be accursed." Here are ten children. Give them all the same simple problem in arithmetic. Imagine that each gives you a different answer. Of these ten answers, you know that at least nine are wrong. Perhaps also the tenth. Here are 33,800 sects. Ask them all to solve the problem, "What does the Bible teach?" Each gives you a different answer. But you know that only one can really be correct. All the rest are wrong. Two and two are always four. There are a thousand wrong answers to every problem, but only one correct reply. "What does the Bible teach?" Each gives you a different answer. But you know that only one can really be correct. All the rest are wrong. Two and two are always four. There are a thousand wrong answers to every problem, but only one correct reply

Raised Catholic till 20, then pretty much nothing for 30 years; when I finally read the Bible after hearing strong Scriptural preaching, the Holy Spirit gave me understanding and everything changed and I got born again. I had a dream several years afterwards that involved pope Francis: it was set in my family dining room and everyone but 2 were seated around the table was grayed out - they are in darkness. (None of them is born again.) Then Pope Francis was standing between me and that kitchen table. He was right in my face, wearing his white pope frock, telling me or commanding me that I needed to say a Hail Mary. He had his hands really tight around my upper arms while he said it. In the dream - praise the Lord - my immediate words to him were: “take your hands off of me, you filthy sinner. In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke you. Repent.” Pope Francis’ face began to blur and then it dissolved. In the dream another woman, in real life a friend who also was a former Catholic 50 years ago, calmly walked over to me and removed pope Francis’ hands that were still clutching my upper arms. Jesus Christ is the only way. I pray more people wake up to the truth. That whole institution is anti-Christ and I learned that the more I read the word of God. So what was your family's excuse and yours for not reading Scripture The Church forcefully and specifically exhorts all the Christian faithful . . . to learn the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ, by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures. Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ. Catechism Of the Catholic Church (CCC 133)😃😃 Pope St. Gregory I (died 604 AD) “The Emperor of heaven, the Lord of men and of angels, has sent you His epistles for your life’s advantage-and yet you neglect to read them eagerly. Study them, I beg you, and meditate daily on the words of your Creator. Learn the heart of God in the words of God, that you may sigh more eagerly for things eternal, that your soul may be kindled with greater longings for heavenly joys.” Pope Clement XI (1700 - 1720) To forbid Christians to read Sacred Scripture, especially the Gospels, is to forbid the use of light to the sons of light, and to cause them to suffer a kind of excommunication. Pope Pius VI (April 1st 1778 AD) “the faithful should be excited to the reading of the Holy Scriptures: for these are the most abundant sources which ought to be left open to every one, to draw from them purity of morals and of doctrine” Pope Pius VII (1800 - 1823) "encourage their people to read the Holy Scriptures ; for nothing can be more useful, more consoling, and more animating, because they serve to confirm the faith, to support the hope, and to influence the charity of the true Christian." Pope Leo XIII (1893) “The solicitude of the apostolic office naturally urges and even compels us…to desire that this grand source of Catholic revelation (the Bible) should be made safely and abundantly accessible to the flock of Jesus Christ” Pope Pius X (1903 - 1914) “Nothing would please us more than to see our beloved children form the habit of reading the Gospels - not merely from time to time, but every day.” Pope Benedict XV (1914 - 1922) “Our one desire for all the Church’s children is that, being saturated with the Bible, they may arrive at the all-surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ” Pope Pius XII (1943) “... This author of salvation, Christ, will men more fully know, more ardently love and more faithfully imitate in proportion as they are more assiduously urged to know and meditate the Sacred Letters, especially the New Testament ...” Pope John Paul II (1979) “catechesis must be impregnated and penetrated by the thought, the spirit and the outlook of the Bible and the Gospels through assiduous contact with the texts themselves” Pope Benedict XVI (2006) “I urge you to become familiar with the Bible, and to have it at hand so that it can be your compass pointing out the road to follow. By reading it, you will learn to know Christ.” Pope Francis (2015) “The Bible is not meant to be placed on a shelf, but to be in your hands, to read often - every day, both on your own and together with others” Gee, good thing you don’t like condescending emails, right? Anyway, I am not rebuking God’s Word, I am rebuking man’s word and, in particular, I am rebuking your word. Your fallible, man-made, non-authoritative, biased and bigoted word. You speak of the “laughable infallible teachings of the [M]agisterium,” yet you tend to also speak as if you yourself are infallible. Do you believe your private interpretations of Scripture to indeed be infallible? And, if not, will you then admit that your private, fallible interpretations of Scripture, in regard to Purgatory and other such Catholic teachings, could be wrong? You won’t admit that, though, will you? You know why? Pride, Freddy boy...pride. You are too proud to admit that you could be wrong. That your interpretations are indeed fallible and, therefore, prone to error. He is one of these former Catholics who knows "everything" there is to know about the Catholic Church and its teachings and who feels a special call to save Catholics from the darkness of Romanism that he was, at long last, able to escape from. I take it that during this time as a Christian you have not sinned even 1 time correct? Naturally due to rising to such a high spiritual level of perfection, your thoughts are totally pure and the passions cease to exist due to your total sanctification and totally pure heart. I must hand it to you, it’s one thing for a Monk to leave the world and live in constant unceasing prayer on the Holy Mountain of Mt. Anthos, but to live in the world like you do and still be able to reach such a high spiritual state of perfection that the Great Saints could never achieve deserves of crown of diamonds

You were never a catholic you liar🤢🤢 Catechism #432 The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation, and henceforth all can invoke his name, for Jesus united himself to all men through his Incarnation, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

I was sort of raised Roman Catholic and nearly reverted to that sect, which, like all religious sects, I distinguish from true faith (belief). Thankfully, Abba/ Father had other plans and began showing me the errors of the RC system. Once Abba/ Father awakened me to the truth--that the salvific action of Jesus supercedes ALL religious systems--I could better grasp the truth in Luke 1:46-49: "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, *And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.* For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name" (emphasis on verse 47).

There is only one mediator between Man and God. The Catholic Catechism clearly states four times that Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and Man (Paragraphs 618, 956, 1544, and 2574) Christ's role as the only mediator is that he sacrificed himself for the remission of sin.... @resetsetmefree478 When you look into the strongs and concordance of the word "blessed," it translates to "fortunate, "to be count happy." There's no divine suggestions or details to suggest Mary is to be venerated. As for being "bible only," that's the most wise thing to be because the word of God alone has ultimate authority. So why be againat that? Do you really think man's words have more authority? For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Brother I wish you had carried on to focus deeply with him on verses Luke 1:47-48 because it demonstrates how Mary herself did not see herself the way romanists do. Mary says, "And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For He hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden..." - She knew she needed a Saviour. Someone who is immaculate and sinless does not need a saviour. Only sinners need a saviour. She knew she did. - She knew humility and aknowledged that as a normal Jewish woman, she was of "low estate" compared to the greatness of God. Brothers and Sisters, we must love Mary as a faithful obedient servant of the Lord but we must not commit the great sin of assigning to her attributes and titles she never had and never claimed to have. The only mediator between God and Man is Jesus the Christ. And that is fantastic news!

She was the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not just the "human part" it's heresy to say that. Yes Jesus is the One mediator so we can agree on that. So then, when you stand before Him, and if He were to ask you "why did you profess to love Me and yet you showed absolutely no respect for my mom" then what would you say? You should be terrified

so sad you are a lair and so ignorant of scripture 😜😜 There is only one mediator between Man and God. The Catholic Catechism clearly states four times that Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and Man (Paragraphs 618, 956, 1544, and 2574) Christ's role as the only mediator is that he sacrificed himself for the remission of sin. Paul in Galatians 2:20, “It is not I, but Christ who [teaches] in me…”

And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman from the crowd, lifting up her voice, said to him: Blessed is the womb that bore thee, and the paps that gave thee suck. But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it. Our Lord was directly complimenting His mother, for who else among the race of men can say that they perfectly heard the Word of God and kept it Mary as the first Person To say Yes to Gods plan for redemption Mary Was the First person to say thy will Be done Mary thru who the WORD was made Flesh Mary is the only person that can say Jesus, flesh of my flesh. Bone of my bone. And that is VERY special It was not the Church that held Mary is the highest esteem and reverence, it was God Himself. “If y’all have any problems with Mary , you better damn well get over them because she’s the Mother of God !”🤔🤔

I find Christians who judge the Roman Catholic Church on the intercession of Mary are sadly misled. The intercession of Mary - Queen Mother. It shows a lack of humility or deeper understanding of the Bible which was protected for centuries by the Roman Catholic Church. It's a form of bastardization. 41 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42 and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.

The "original sin" doctrine states that the fallen nature of Adam and Eve was handed down to all humans. But John Calvin taught that the GUILT was also handed down including to newborn babies. And yet what kinda sins do they have like gurgling four letter words lol 😆 Mary had no sin of the PERSONAL type. Jesus shared in the temptations also and yet He never sinned. The mere fact that one is tempted does not make you guilty I looked up Jael and wow that is such an interesting parallel passage to the one from Luke! I know that one main difference is that the old testament was written in Hebrew and the new testament in Greek so that may explain the difference in wording. Judges has some colorful dudes like Gideon and Samson who served as a "type" (prefigurement) of Christ. So it could also be said that Jael is a "type" of Mary. Thanks for pointing that out 🙂

@resetsetmefree478 Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. However, your points are not biblical my friend, there's no bible for Mary having no 'personal' sin...Mary herself says she has a Saviour... according to the bible 'all unrighteousness is sin' (1John 5:17).....even a foolish thought is sin (Prov. 24:9)....sin is that subtle and ingrained....no one is free of personal sin....for 'ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God' and there is 'none righteous, not one'. We ALL need a Saviour, even Mary. She was indeed blessed 'among' women and highly favoured, but she was 'born in iniquity and shapen in sin' like the rest of us and does not mediate between God and man....only Christ does that. God bless you as you seek truth from His pure and powerful Word, as I pray that for myself also.

@@forloveandtruth1450 not biblical? The Bible is exactly what I was referring to the entire time!!! Your issue my friend is very bad theology. You see Mary didn't give birth to just the "human part" of Jesus only. Because He didn't "earn" the Godhead by being perfect. Jesus was ALWAYS God even in Marys womb. The verse "all have sinned" that you always love to throw around is part of a larger thought _in context_ Did you even read the rest of that scripture in Romans? It speaks of an IMPUTED righteousness thru the grace of God. And God can give that grace to those whom He favors. Jesus said the RIGHTEOUS will shine like the sun (Matthew 13;43) Mary was someone who was favored by God as the Bible clearly teaches Hope this helps a bit. Be blessed 🙏

@resetsetmefree478 Thanks for the reply. Please know that I am not seeking to offend or upset, but merely to present the truth in love for your consideration. I will make this my last post, my friend. Again, there is no verse or passage that says Mary had no personal sin, it is merely a man made doctrine. The fact that Mary was chosen to bear Jesus only makes her blessed and highly favoured, it does not make her sinless. There is no verse saying it does or will ever do. Romans 3, is talking about the righteousness of God 'by faith' to those who believe, a righteousness 'for the remission of sins'. Maybe you mean Romans 4 v 7 about imputed righteousness, which is for those 'whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Mary, as a believer in Christ for her redemption (Rom 3:24, 25) will have received forgiveness of sins the same way as any other believer. God bless you and may He drive us all to seek truth from His Word.
@resetsetmefree478
@resetsetmefree478 22 дня назад
@@forloveandtruth1450 the same way as any other believer? Well my friend my Bible disagrees according to Luke 1:28. Mary is identified by the Greek word translated as "highly favored" but which is not used to identify anybody else in the Bible. So she couldn't have "accepted Christ as her Savior" if that wasn't even a catchphrase yet. (And I say catchphrase because in the Bible I have I can't find it anyplace 🤔) Because Jesus was always God even at His conception that's why it was necessary for Mary to be pure. You see my friend, God can create somebody to be without personal sin because in the Bible it also says God is omnipotent. I already mentioned newborns but another example is Eve who was also created without sin (even though she was not sinless from start to finish). Yes Mary was also a human being like the rest of us but she was the only one who gave birth to God her Savior. But Mary was also a human being and not a "goddess" so that's why it was not necessary for her mom to be sinless or her grandmother etc... So again hope this helps a bit. Nice chatting here 😊

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. This is what it means to LOVE --1 John 5 King James Version. 5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? ONE LORD ONE FATIH ONE BAPTISM “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6) The one baptism (and the only valid baptism), is the baptism of the one faith, the baptism authorized by the one Lord and practiced by the one body, the church of Christ. “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body” (1 Corinthians 12:13). "Are you born again-the way the Bible understands that concept?" If the Evangelical has not been properly water baptized, he has not been born again "the Bible way," regardless of what he may think.The Born Again Movement traces its origin early in the 19th century.Born Again Movement arrived at our shores in the late 1930’s and gained its popularity in the 70’s and 80’s which is considered the golden era of Born Again Movement During these years membership in various Born Again Churches increased because they where able to infiltrate mainline Protestant Churches and had lured nominal Catholics into their fold.However their steady growth ceases starting the year 1990 and their membership declined in the succeeding years. In the year 2000 Born Again Churches from the United States sent their missionaries in the Philippines to re-established the Born Again Movement and this time their primary mission is no longer to infiltrate Protestant and Catholic Churches but targeted the youth in schools particularly college students.Born Again evangelist does not want to discuss the history of the Christian church, in their Bible studies with their prospects, they intentionally limit the discussion to the Bible alone. They conceal the history of the Christian religion because it will show that their movement did not originate from the apostles. It is necessary for them to negate history because St. Paul warned us not to accept teachings that did not originate from the apostles Gal.1:8 and Born Again Movement evidently cannot trace the history of their church into the time of the apostles.Clearly Born Again evangelization has deception as its chief foundation and they even used selected passages from the Bible to deceive people. They usually start evangelizing by asking ambiguous questions such as “Are you saved?” or “Are you born again?”, if the person answers “no or I don’t know” they will tell you that you must accept Christ as a Lord and Personal Savior in order to be born again otherwise you will be damned to hell. And if the person will answer “yes” they will invite you to their church and worship with them. And if the person is a Catholic that would mean that you have to leave the Catholic Church and do away your Catholic beliefs about Mary, the Saints, confession etc. Let us be vigilant not to fall to the snares of the Born Again movement.😜😜

@JesusIsLord560
@JesusIsLord560 23 дня назад
Study it because it’s all part of the antichrist deception that is coming in these last days. Those who teach Gnosticism want you to believe that your soul is divine (that you are already God) and you just need to realise that and live according to that mindset in order to break free from the illusion of this life (from the cycle of death/reincarnation) and become one with God. They twist and spiritualise scripture to fit their teachings. They acknowledge Jesus but only as a pattern or metaphor for how we should become one with God. However, those who follow Gnosticism don’t realise that our souls have been corrupted by sin, which is why Jesus said that we need to be born again (we need a New Spirit - the Holy Spirit), and that new birth comes through faith in the literal Jesus Christ who literally died for our sins and was literally raised for our justification. There’s a lot more to Gnosticism, and it’s worth studying so that we don’t fall for it! God bless ✝️🙏

So sad the idolatry in the Catholic Church. Acts 4:11-12 “This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone. @bibleman8010
@bibleman8010 22 дня назад
so sad you are a lair and so ignorant of scripture 😂😂 There is only one mediator between Man and God. The Catholic Catechism clearly states four times that Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and Man (Paragraphs 618, 956, 1544, and 2574) Christ's role as the only mediator is that he sacrificed himself for the remission of sin. Paul in Galatians 2:20, “It is not I, but Christ who [teaches] in me…”

Catholics pray, meaning to ask, for the blessed mother Mary’s intercession. She is not dead Luke 20:37-38, and we should ask for others intercession 1 Tim 2:1-2 so don’t forget this when you say verses 5 and 6 which says Jesus is the only intercessor.

Mary was with the disciples on the day of pentecost. She is blessed...not to be prayed too !! Nowhere in the Bible are we told to pray to Mary ...in fact , Mary is not mentioned following Jesus birth except at the cross and on the day of Pentecost. Too pray to Mary is Idolatry. There is only One mediator between God and man and that is the Lord Jesus 🙏 . Repent and read your Bible or you may perish ....😢

We love Mary. Mary is alive and well and she's in HEAVEN. But what many people fail to realize is that Jesus created Mary. It said in John in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and there's nothing that exists that wasn't created by the Lord Jesus Christ. Now she had Jesus and if it wasn't for her having Jesus Jesus would have been able to complete his mission so obviously she's of extremely high esteem in heaven but there's no place in the Bible that says to worship or pray to jesus's mother. Now mary can intercede for us, maybe she has that special power because she did have Jesus. We don't know it's a mystery.

Not a catholic but when inside an ancient catholic church anywhere on the globe with gregorian chanting you cannot deny the presence of the holy spirit. It has survived millenia for a reason. Unforunateley you cannot say the same for born again christian so called churches that tend to be an ex office on a busy high street with a pastor in a suite that earns 300k a year as opposed to catholic priests who are lucky to get 30k. Those churches tend to also shutdown after a few years.

Jesus is an intercessor of what? See Hebrews 8:6, 9:15 & 12:24 for the answer. Jesus is truly the intercessor of the New Covenant for all men through his death and resurrection which no one else can fulfil. However, Jesus himself tells us to pray for each other (Mt 6:9-15) as does James (5:16) and Paul (Col 1:9) and many Old Testament passages. Read also the account of the centurion - considering himself unworthy - asking his friends to intercede with Jesus on his behalf rather than going to Jesus directly (Lk 7:2-10) to which Jesus said, "not even in Israel have I found such faith."
