I work in MEP, I use a much easier approach to fix this without having to mess with your shared parameters files. Just go to transfer project standards, select the architects model, check the box for Project Parameters, hit OK, and now all their parameters are in my model. If I don't want to clutter up my model, I can do it in a blank model, then delete the parameters I don't want, and do the transfer again. Another option, open their model, create a schedule with just that parameter, then copy/paste the schedule into your model.
My project parameters window is completely different to that, no Add/Modify/Remove options, I don't understand why every fix I try throws up a new thing I need to work out.
Do you know of a way to show the sample value instead of a question mark? For example like the project name come up on the project and once you click it you can edit it?
