pretty sure it was named after the show Worth It that did an episode with this place years back - love that they helped this business gain more popularity!
@@willvr4 Oh no I’m poor! My grandfather kind of raises them on his farm for personal eating use so we get them cured from him and there is kind of an excess
Good spot, line is long at times but they’re pros at this. I live close too. My only complaint is their bagels are slightly smaller than other places. “My spot” is bagel oasis off the LIE at Utopia
Devour is a treasure chest of finding the delicious morsels for the tastebuds! Utopia bagels is another bucketlist item for this lachs bagel with capers 🤯😋🔥
They are actually called Lox because in Swedish (my country) we eat alot of cured salmon! And we call it Lax and if you would try to pronounce it as an english speaker it would come out as Lox 😄🍋🐦
@heinzbitte Yeah, you’re right. It’s Yiddish, but originally comes from Middle High German which explains the similarity between European countries terms for it.
I wonder why purple berries are called blueberries, and why purple aggregate druplets are called blackberries. I'm telling you, big purple is trying to cover something up. This could be huge.
I could do without the tomatoes and capers but otherwise looks great. I would definitely recommend trying different flavor cream cheeses with it. There's so many that go good with lox.
I ordered the same (a lox and cream cheese bagel) from Utopia Bagel and it did not look like this! They only gave me one layer of lox…and not impressed with the cream cheese or bagel quality. no need to go back to this place, great service and staff though !
I love bagels but the only thing I don't like in Montreal it's either Sesame or everything, I cannot eat Sesame anything and I I'm allergic to everything in the everything seasoning especially the onion
The King 👑 of all Bagel sandwiches ➡️ smoked- salmon cream-cheese bagel 🥯. I'm sure he paid $15 to $20 for that. That price doesn't include a cup of coffee ☕.
