I’m going to use League of Legends/Dota 2 Analogies here Defender=Tank Speedster=Assassin Attacker=Marksman/ADC All-Rounder=Fighter/Off Tank Supporter=Support. BTW. Thank you for the video. ❤ Really insightful.
As you just covered roles, I would love it if you could cover team composition in the future. Team composition and roles are somewhat related, after all. It's less relevant in solo queue, but still important, as different comps make certain strategies more viable, whether its a front-to-back teamfight, picking and skirmishes, split pushing, protect the hyper carry(s) etc.
As an All Rounder enjoyer since day 1, I was super happy to hear the way to play it is the way I'm trying to learn. SoloQ is a bit hard so I unfortunately have to play a bit defensive, but my god. We are truly self sufficient. -Tsareena main. You know it.
unite can take help form creators to embed basic tutorials like this within the game. i remember clash of clans used to do that. just being told once would help people a lot. not everyone is enthusiastic to look up guides to get better at the game.
Thank you for this vid Louche! I especially enjoyed the part of the attackers (currently playing Delphox) and all rounders (Tsareena main) as that’s what I’m playing most atm along with some speedster (Gengar) sprinkled here and there. Your attacker segment is so spot on cause it reminded me of a game I had yesterday when I was playing Delphox and even though we didn’t have a defender we had a Tyranitar who spectacularly peeled for me and was frontlining as I was shooting the enemy with mystical fire from a safe distance. The all rounder segment when you mentioned to wait for the enemy’s moves to be on cooldown is so helpful that I’m gonna try incorporating that now. I think this game you needa to be more aware that I genuinely didn’t think of my enemy’s cooldowns cause it’s so hectic
I love this series! There’s not a lot of theory vids out there like this for Unite, so I appreciate it! I’d love to hear more in-depth info on the roles! Keep it up duder!
Very appreciative of this! Made me reevaluate my play style and, with this insight you've shared, I've started to learn the mons/roles better suited to it, which has made the grind a little more enjoyable. Keep up the great content.
Great video! I think it’d be cool to have a series of videos explaining each role individually and examples how each character in said role can perform optimally
Thank you for sharing this video, I’ve been playing since the start and i absolutely love this game. If you could share, i would love to see detailed videos for each role! The videos you’ve been sharing have been so informative and helpful and i am so glad my friend shared your page with me. One day i wanna be in competitive unite and i love all the advice being shared to better myself. Thank you! 😊
This is very enlightening, gives a very clear idea on what the roles should be doing. I'd def like to see a comprehensive jungle vid, been jungling a lot to carry my games and want to take it to the next level. Would be very helpful for those who want to start jungling too!
So basically Attacker main thing is dealing damage avoids taking damage Defender main point is being a bait the shield or protecting the objects Supporter just support the team All rounder deal like no damages at all but can heal itself so it requires attack weight or weakness policy Speedster have higher mobility it's a assassin you go out there help bottom lane or push up the top lane to have the lead
I only had the chance to watch this video now but really thank you so much for this video! This is my first MOBA and navigating through the game was really just a pain but really really fun. I had been playing since the game was released on mobile and I think not a lot of people do what their role is supposed to do. Unfortunately, I only know how to be a Defender and Supporter and I find it really difficult to be playing as the other roles, especially being the Attacker. I do hope you have videos in the future that go in-depth more about each role! 🥰
This is an incredible video homie!!! Really needed this, and each role is so well explained champ! THANK YOU!!! We really appreciate you for all that you are doing and for being a huge inspiration to all of us!
Also on a website based on Pokemon unite it said defenders was the easiest role to learn so I hopped into a match with one. We lost and by the end of the game I was still level 5
They are the easiest to play mechanically, very straight forward abilities, but the timing and the knowledge of when to use them is quite advanced at higher levels of play
Great video! I was wondering what your opinion is on certain pokemon having abilities that break their role. Like Tsareena, I believe has a lot of healing from Trop Kick. Personally I think it’s rediculous for Attackers to have so much healing and it only encourages players to pick Attackers more and ignore the need for support.
Please, continue doing these vídeos, i would like more tips about allrounders like lucario, because they can do too much things, tank, do damage, pick off, invade, defend base, engage, i would like to know better when doing one of these things.
The thing about paying attention to other player's roles in solo queue, I tried doing that but sometimes your teammates are absolute asses and you can't rely on them to do their job while you have a 'mon with no carry potential, leaving the game's fate to them. The build I use is made in consideration that I can only count on me and rely on myself so if something goes wrong I can flip. And that's ben giving me the better win rate in solo queue.
Louche I am a defender main and these tips were quite helpful the only problem I have is that I don’t CC the other team enough and I need to start putting my team in a good position to win a team fight with block or high horsepower or surf and horn leech really need to make use of those moves for my teammates I always stick by the team to protect them but I really don’t CC well that’s the only thing I need to practice thanks louche also keep it up very good content👍
Speedsters is the role I know the most, since It was the first role I picked up because I love Zeraora. I'm aware that I'm fragile and super quick and strong, I feel like some players don't really understand that, and this is someone who has a blue badge on my cat. yes it's important to catch them by surprise but also to be sure to get in, kill the back line and get out so you won't get caught out and feed the enemy team. Bushes are your friends, use them to your advantage. I need to start playing more Zera so I can get back up over 500, also nice guides for people who are getting into this game for the first time. :p
I mostly play support and defender. One of my biggest mistakes is panicking when I get behind in levels, then I go farm and let down my role. What advise do you have for keeping up with leveling in those roles and what to do if I fall behind? Thank you for these videos?
Thanks for the video, Louche! Now, most Pokemon Unite videos are "Check how I owned this game!" which are fun, but not necessarily very informative. These kind of videos are really help to improve our gameplay.
Say all of ur team is in one lane and it's not objective relevant nor are they really scoring, at the same time you have an enemy Pokemon who is constantly trying to sneak in scores on unguarded goals. Usually I keep a close eye on the goal none of my teammate are near by hovering close by to check for back caps or if I see my enemies are elsewhere I try n back cap myself. Is this an OK play to make or should I be doing something else (I'm usually an Attacker when I do this)
