The one thing I disagree with is the comment re: "so few of us are really British". Not true. My family have lived in the U.K. since before it was the U.K. Northern Irish and Scottish people's families go back (like my own and most of our community) for centuries. All be it some may have left the Western Islands, the far north of Scotland to find better lives in the central belt and the lowlands, but we stayed (not all Irish or Scots left for the new world)!

The average Malaysian is having a hard time making ends meet, especially with the influx of wealthy western retirees into our cities, which is driving up the cost of rent. While the poor foreign labours dominate the lower cost rental units and turning the place, unsavoury. The high cost is now being felt by everyone especially by young people who moved to the city to work. Living in a country with a majority of Muslims has its perks no doubt, but I would much rather work overseas, develop my career, earn my little pot of gold, and then retire home. Sadly emigrating for work is not without sacrifices. I can only hope, our currency will bounce back up once again. I love this country but our leaders are morons.

Council tax increases are actually only a tiny factor in the cost of living hikes. The biggest increases are in other items that are monopolies like utility costs and car insurance. The current inflation rate is quoted at less than 4% but that's based on an unrealistic basket of goods. Most people need utilities and a car to get to work and these two costs have more than doubled.

I agree, I watch what's happening in the UK with dread. Anti Muslim feeling is growing and far right nutters are getting excited. If it kick off, all none white people will be victims of their wrath. They're even moaning about being treat by foreign doctors and nurses, who often get abused. This country was fantastic, until Maggie Thatcher let greed and privatisation in and our industries out, due to cheaper products from China and cheaper customer services from abroad. Our towns were teaming with clubs and pubs, now, there all gone, the shops and the heaving markets, that sold everything we needed, closed down to, due to large supermarkets out pricing them. They sold our gas and electric companies off and now we're having to jump through hoops, to find the best price from a gaggle of companies, all selling us the same gas, and getting ripped off, while they make billions. They sold off our water and now, all our rivers are polluted with sewage and chemicals they let them pour into them. They just pay the huge fines, because they're making so much money and carry on polluting. Our prisons, are like holiday camps, because private companies took over. The courts, giving out such mild sentences, the crooks know it's worth committing crimes and the complete lawlessness on our streets, as a result. They've given us nearly 20 years of hell, and it's only going to get worse, since they dished out billions to themselves, and their cronies, during the plandemic and forced 80,000 fully trained nurses in Yorkshire alone, to quit their jobs, over refusing the second clot shot and thousands of Docter's too, and then let the people, who were unable to get an appointment, blame it on the immigrants, while the Docter's surgeries were empty, because the Docter's all work part time. Not to mention the crippling council tax, that's making living unbearable, to pay for them giving all the money away in the pandemic. Docter's surgeries are still uncontactable, and they've run the NHS into the ground, through private companies being brought in from miles away, with lousy food or to change a light bulb, while they were busy putting all our private medical record's, on the WHO AI database, ready for the U.S medical Insurance roll out. Anyone, that promises to fix the NHS and re-nationalise gas, water and electricity, will get my vote. Greed has caused this mess. Greed, millionaire MP's, fat cat wages and middlemen. And don't get me started on the W.E. F. We've all had enough of them and we'll all be sorry, when the exodus to better run countries, kicks in and leaves us up $hit creek, while the host countries reap the benefits of our skilled people. This government couldn't run a bath, let alone a country.

Absolutely! Look at what our Grandparents built back up after the war, including the NHS, which worked well until the last decade. Too many selfish people abused our generosity to the point that we are ruined. Go, quickly, and let us build our Country up again.
