I would buy strip lashes and cut into 3 sections and place underneath the lash. So much easier and definitely a time saver.

Guys this really works, I suck with applying them, I did the same but without curling my lashes cuz I saw on RU-vid that’s much easier, but I will try it with curling my lashes, I used the balm lashes in the pink packaging, it’s the same shape, use a flexible lashes it’s gonna be much easier. it was really quick when I applied them. This is such a winner in my book! I will say that you need to use a lash that is evenly one length (so it goes from short to long back to short) otherwise I notice that one eye can look more dramatic than the other (ex. cat eye shaped lashes go from short to long, that's it). I love the ardell extensions FX L curl for this!

I’m 40 now I have been doing this since I was 18. Also, I would have trimmed the outer lash it’s too long and drops the eye.

My right eye maybe 2 days a week will be tearful. Not running down my face or anything that drastic but it’s enough to cause strip lashes to lift on the inner corner. Also, I’m 52 so I don’t always want a FULL lash look as I go through stages of more natural eyeshadow looks. So….this sounds like an amazing solution for my situation!! Trying it TODAY!! Yay!! I've been using ardell magnetic accent lashes (so only outer half of lashes). The magnetic accents are super easy to put on in compare to the ardell magnetic lashes (full sizes) and don't damage at all (no glue).

It takes me the longest to do the inner corner. It's the one thing I notice a lot of ppl just can't quite get to look natural. I also don't apply any liner or mascara until the end. My natural lashes r super long so if I apply mascara first I can't get the lash on properly. I watched so many videos & couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. Now, I apply my eyeshadow first (most days I don't wear any)curl my lashes (if I'm in a hurry I skip this part), apply the lash, use an eyeliner pencil for upper lash line (I find L'Oréal infallible to be the easiest), a liquid liner for the inner corner (Maybelline Stiletto liquid liner works best for me), then I apply mascara to help blend the lashes.

My hack is cutting the ardell magnetic ones (the up and down) that clap on in under 5 seconds, look as good as this, no lash glue and they just pull right off. I don't need mascara and I don't have to curl my straight lashes bc the magnetic pull does that for me

I’ve been doing this for a while but it never occurred to me to try it with a doll shaped lash, I usually just use the outer halves of two cat eye lashes which was such a wastee! thanks for the tip!! Now I can get more use out of one pair!!
