I was screaming at the phone for you to use Flare Blitz instead of Close Combat on Iron hands 😅😭

Can someone help me? I am using an infernpape in pvp and story, but I can tell what is a better moveset, which is 1. Flare blitz 2. Earthquake 3. Close combat 4.Thunder punch This moveset is just all coverage and full dmg where the earthquake plus thunder punch cover the water , rock weakness and flare blitz with close combat are the dmg attackers And the second 1.Flare blitz 2.swords dance 3. U-turn 4. Close combat This is the dmg moveset just like the first moveset close combat and flare blitz are still here but I make it have more dmg meaning I use swords dance endure the hit use u-turn (the only coverage for water weakness but not ground and rock) then continue from there where then it has way more dmg And 3rd 1.Flare blitz 2.u-turn/swords dance 3.earthquake 4. Close combat This is the same as the first one, but I switch thunder punch with u-turn or sword dance with u-turn I can go against a water type but immediately witch out to a grass or thunder type which could be very useful but I won't have anything for flying which could rlly punish later and for swords dance let's say the same scenario with the water type but instead I use swords dance then use thunder which could might one shot this could punish as we if I Don't either one shot the opponent or survive the hit and rest is already explained I can't see which of these would help me more pls give me your thoughts and thx

I checked the calcs for the Drain Punch KO on Infernape, and I got this: 132+ Atk Iron Hands Drain Punch vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Infernape: 136-162 (90 - 107.2%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO. So crit probably mattered, although Iron Hands could've lived the second Close Combat due to recovery and Grassy Terrain anyway (Or not, although it would need a few crits to finish the team off anyway) The Close Combat calc against Iron Hands went like this: 252 Atk Infernape Close Combat vs. 192 HP / 12 Def Iron Hands: 82-97 (32.4 - 38.3%) -- 3.1% chance to 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery. The crit on Flygon did probably matter tho: 152+ Atk Rillaboom Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Tera Steel Flygon: 100-118 (64.5 - 76.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO. Oh, and even with Tera Steel, there was a good chance that Knock Off into Grassy Glide would've KOed Tera Steel Flygon at the range it would've been (Best case scenario, it would've been at 1 to 8 HP if both hits were minimum rolls.) Finally, this is the calc for the Flash Cannon from Magnezone: 252 SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magnezone Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 169-199 (103.6 - 122%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Crit didn't matter in the end, that thing hits HARD as hell. And both Flare Blitz and Close Combat do the same damage, so the recoil damage would've still weakened Infernape greatly, to the point where any other mon I swapped in just needed to take a hit and then Infernape dies to recoil damage.
