I'm glad you enjoyed the team just as much as I did. I do have to say that I got the Venusaur and Wake idea from my buddy and it could not have been made as well if it wasn't for him (ty Zane). Also, thank you for using my team! I took it to my first tourney and did pretty well for my standards, and was pretty proud of how well it worked!

this gen weather wise has expanded sun, rain, and snow teams. sun with protosynthesis has added another layer to the weather, rain we got a ton of new swift swimmers in this gen plus palafin and ursifu rapid strike loves it, and snow is a whole new revamp from hail amazing and needed change to help buff the defenses of ice types in hail

Unfortunately tinglu is weak to urshifu/flutter/walking wake

@@thod-thod Ting-Lu can easily take on flutter and ohko it even without Terra and can wall out WW with terra. NTM can counter nearly any of the newer Paradox mons and Arch/Hydrapple. Urshi maybe a direct counter but there’s ways around him using your partner Pokémon

It’s good into a lot of common mons like urshifu and rillaboom and has the fastest sleeper in the game so it will always have a use.

I made a sun team with bulk eject pack Ninetales (out with intimidate or overheat), venu, walking wake and gouging fire. It puts a lot of pression early with sleep and wake being boosted.

I’ve found good success for walking wake with the expert belt and with booster energy, and I think it could be a candidate for stellar tera (I’ve been using it on smogon doubles ever since it’s been legal)

@andresperez6829 My best checks to TR with that team is leading with Metagross and Incineroar. Metagross resists Psy-spam and Incineroar can cripple TR users with Knock Off. From there, just do your best to wait out the TR and regain field advantage.
