His ceiling is going to be so unique. He has the strength, and size to bully grown men with the I.Q. and skill to to go with a blossoming offensive arsenal that can include shooting 3's at an NBA average someday. He could be something the NBA has never seen before. I think him, and Ausar has the most unique 2 way skill that could possibly have the biggest stakes into the Pistons becoming Championship contenders in the future. We all know what Cade brings, and Ivey needs to improve on his defense, and not playing so selfishly Ausar, and Jalen play hard, but within the offense, and never disrupts the flow that's why I like their ceilings better.
i would love to see Jalen duren put on muscles and skills to expand his low post moves and continue on improving his skills and everything else in his game.
Glad you see what we all see. Now it's up to the Pistons organization to see it too and let him grow and bloom, something they have been historically the worst in the league at. Development of great talent. For me, Cade, Ivey, Duren, and Ausar are untouchable and have allstar potential. Here's hoping they don't set Duren up for failure.
lmao I just traded for him in mycareer and he has single handedly turned around my season. He gets so many rebounds and contests everything. Best mycareer teammate I've ever had in nba 2k. Its unbelievable
The touch on his shot makes me think he going to be a good shooter. He showed flashes of having decent ball handling for his, albeit a bit stiff; like he was still thinking about what move hes going to make. As of Summer league(i dont take to much stock into summer league other than intangibles) he looks way more fluid, more doing and making plays and less thinking. I actually think offensively he will be a 3 level scorer in a few years. If he can reach his ceiling defensively, thats one scary dude.
I been peeped this.. I have him on the Olympics Roster Curry Haliburton Booker Edward KD Lebron Tatum Draymond Herb Jones Bam Jalen Duren AD Top 5 others to make it Dame Mikal Bridges Jimmy Butler Evan Mobley Kessler
100 percent agree they didn’t utilize his passing enough.. pistons were one of the worst teams if not the worst team in terms of ball movement last year.. hoping a new coach changes that
Duren looks like he's gonna be great, but disagree he showed more defensive promise. I see a lot of Chris Webber in him. Obviously I don't think he's gonna be that good on O in today's game (very perimeter oriented), but he has a ton of natural skill and feel to make a read or make a bucket look easy. His D wasn't bad considering his age, and he made great blocks, but the D didn't stand out as what shapes his on-court personality. I think he'll be good on D, but I'm hoping for great and I don't think there's quite as much evidence yet as this video implies.
He’s already offensively eons beyond Ben Wallace. He can be a Top Five overall Center in the game when he hits his prime! Pistons young core wild talented and deep. Them, OKC, Spurs and Rockets . But the core of Duren, Cade, Ausar and Ivey is crazy exciting.
@@Weshinewegrow Ben Wallace took over games on D. Like that is a high bar. I love Tim Duncan, Hakeem, etc.. but Ben Wallace's peak prime was only matched by one guy in NBA history on D, Bill Russel (who did it much longer)
@doowserg7263 Detroit has the best young core in the NBA, and can rival any in NBA history in my opinion in terms of potential, and if they all all to hit their ceiling we got a potential dynasty.
He could be something close to.Dewight but dewight was way better then him at this stage. If he learn how to hit the corner three and midrange. He will then be a Allstar
