I do have a question about C2, would it be worth it if you are using an er sands?

C2 is a must for me the only way to max fanfare with a single target healer is through c2, also you gain extra hp so that it allows you to switch from Hp goblet to Hydro Goblet with more room for dmg substats with her aftifacts.

@anhao2237 a team consisting of sayu, furina, bennett and xiangling. sayu is used as the on fielder to swirl hydro and pyro so that both xiangling and furina do massive damage, she also provides healing for furina and also does pretty decent damage herself if you're like me and you build her with crit. also the fact she's so fast allows u to spin around the enemy, so that xiangling's pyronado hits way more often in single target situations

Even Neuvillette with Prototype Amber is great enough for healing! I regularly used Neuvillette + C2 Furina + Raiden + Nahida in a hyperbloom team, and it deleted everything in its path! Arguably, the most OP team. I have C6 Furina now, so I can experiment with any team.

In hindsight, rather than the relative dmg increase staement I made, I shouldve just said Furinas kit shines the most in teams where she is not used as a big dmg unit, imo. Its a pretty vast oversimplification to say Furina C2 is a 50% dmg increase though, as Im pretty sure that number comes from treating it as if you get the max 140% HP bonus on her immediately, which is not the case (ever). Its a buildup still, and is tied to how much you can drain/gain HP (it does NOT count over healing, notably). Hence I think in the numerous possible teams Furina can be used in, 20% is a more realistic expectation. But Furina C2 is weirdly variable, as mentioned in the video lol. Depending on what you do with Furina and how much you like her it may be worthwhile, but I always recommend people evaluate based on the value of getting entirely new characters to play vs a dmg increase for existing ones. As an aside, the _potential_ the dmg increase it gives is why Ive often run an atk goblet on Furina, or a higher ER build than necessary, in order to balance out her dps for my videos so its closer to a C0 Furina and the results I have are more approachable for more players. But thats just for my videos and not relevant to most players lol

C3 does make the relative value of C2 higher, since C3 vs C1 can now be 125% frontloaded dmg bonus vs C2. (Edit: C1 enables easy 87.5% dmg% immediately frontloaded, C2 enables 100%, and C3 enables 125% in conjunction with C2) But I was specifically speaking more from my personal experience using Furina C2 of course, I do not have C3 and dont intend to get it.

As a fellow C3 haver I now sit with the tough choice of, A: C6 and fulfill my dream of Furina as a main DPS... Or B: Save primos for up coming Natlan characters that are most likely going to be game changing, just like how Fontaine was... (And ya bet'cha im rushing A head first!)

I got C1 Furina without knowing how good it was just because I liked Furina and wanted to spend every last primo on her, the thing is even with just C1 the teams become so good to the point where I feel the downgrade when I switch her to another characters. one of my best investment in Genshin that I thought was useless. I sometimes use her with arlecchino with Layla and it's better than kazuha in that case

The damage bonus of c1 is only around 9% compared to the 30% of c2. C1 is a great comfort con but is insurmountable compared to c2

noelle gets stacks fast even at c0, neuvillette does too, clorinde also gets it fast enough, but single-target healers like bennet or kuki do not. now iirc, c1 is the constellation that multiplies the speed of the stacks, so at c1 everyone works i guess.

if want c2 it's especially good for teams where you don't have a teamwide healer (teams with bennet, kuki, diona, even neuv, any proto amber holder) the only teams where it doesn't do much are teams with characters like xianyun or jean, or other teamwide healers, but those healers generally provide less offensively than the single target healers (bennet, kuki specifically) c2 would definitely be a bigger increase to your team damage than alhaitham's weapon especially if you're only using kuki (i'm assuming your kuki can heal 25k per rotation (about 30k hp and talent level 9) you'd be able to gain 200 stacks from the drain over time and another ~ 150 assuming your characters don't have a lot of hp. but on average you'd max your fanfare at around the 9 second mark, vs with c2 it'd be about 2.5 seconds, leading to your average dmg bonus increasing by about 30-50% which IMO is better than the difference between a f2p weapon and a signature (TL:DR furina c2 > lofi in alhaitham quickbloom)

C2 is actually kinda good on Alhaitham teams because it uses Kuki who is not a very strong healer. I use Nahida on Prototype Amber with Kuki and it works fairly well with my c1 Furina but it does take a few seconds to ramp up to max fanfare. C2 also has a bigger impact for Furina herself because her stats are hard to balance when she is the sole hydro on a team. She almost can not balance her crit, hp, and energy stats without godlike artifacts. C2 lowers her hp stat requirements by a lot so you can just focus on crit and energy.

He started the video off saying he doesn't regret having c2 and does say multiple times it's a good constellation. As always with 5 star constellations it's less "is it good" but "is it good enough to get instead of a whole new character to play with" Do you care about the clear time past getting 3 stars? If someone's answer to that is no that you're correct here doesn't really matter to them.

I mean yeah, I was trying to show when Furina C2 can be useful lol. I was abusing it to demonstrate the idea and show the nuance it where it is useful, while mentioning contexts where it wasn’t. Front loaded buffing is something you can do with Furina teams at C0 though lol. Thats kinda what I was saying. C1 is better for frontloaded buffing utility in more contexts. C1 (a prerequisite for C2) can get you 350/400 stacks immediately with a team wide heal, for a total 87.5% frontloaded dmg bonus, with the remaining 12.5% usually taking seconds to get the rest of (with as little as two hits from the different summons). C0 Furina in that context is 200/300 stacks immediately, for 50% dmg bonus with an additional 25% remaining. So C1 gets you to 87.5% immediately, and all C2 does is take you to 100% immediately. C1 is doing WAY more than C2 for the purpose of frontloaded buffing in normal Furina team contexts, then. Most players would notice the 37.5% difference with C0-C1 but not notice the 12.5% for C2. If you add C3 into the equation (another 25% total dmg bonus iirc), it becomes more significant. But thats not C2 lol Obviously the exact amount of fanfare will vary in practice, but Furina is someone you can get more out of through knowledge/skill expression than needing to get cons for. Dont let me stop you from getting it if you want it. Im just saying her C2 is more nuanced than most people make it out to be. Its still one of my favorite constellations in the game, but isnt necessarily “worth” getting

@@Solunerra yeah, I got lucky and kept winning 50/50 so I’ve been enjoying C2 since release, but like with any 5 star no constellation is worth it in the grand view of the game. It’s just the extra stack gain for every HP change just speeds things along and allows you to put a hydro gob on her to squeeze even more usefulness from her kit.

As a C1R1 neuv and C0R1 furina haver, I can definitely say the two are extremely synergistic and the damage increase and even her personal damage is second to none. Just make sure you have an off-field healer

The difference is not much. My Furina has about 50k hp with Key, which provides 100 team EM. At max fanfare stacks, the HP increases to 70k, which provides 140 EM, an additional 40. However the increase in EM doesn't happen off field as you have to switch into Furina to register the higher HP. Then ts also hard to get 70k hp fast on a team with Kuki, so realistically you're only seeing 60k hp which is a 20 EM increase. Overall the difference is quite negligible

my c0 navia's E hit for nearly 400k on a hyper team with c2 furina in it. her normals did up to 100k damage per hit too (well, more like 3x35k on that spinny part of the combo). does that answer your question? because otherwise idk, i already had c2 furina when i got navia.

Furina because you dont want that many blooms, with her application rate alhaitham gets to hit a bunch of quickens inbetween blooms. She also buffs nahida unlike yelan who only buffs the onfielder.

Yea, straight up misinformation. According to kqm it's a 58.86 Percent personal damage increase from c0. Please check your sources before putting this stuff out In terms of constellation value, it's one of the biggest damage boosts in the entire game-- especially for a support, and doubly so for one who does as much damage as furina. This doesn't even take into account that this causes her to hit max fanfare almost immediately. Like... You're saying it's based on context but then throw out a number that is demonstrably false. If you're using her with a team wide healer, you're going to get closer to a 70 percent personal damage increase. Different people have different priorities in pulling, if you're looking for character cons, she has probably the highest quality out of any unit in the game.

No, its not always a 60% dmg increase. iirc 20% was a throwaway example to mention how its not always that relevant of a dmg increase, especially for the overall team dps increase, which is far more important than the context of her personal dmg increase. The avg person sees "60%" dmg increase as something that is doing more than it actually does, and I certainly wasnt going to assume she always is doing 60% more personal dmg as the baseline for that example (because thats NOT how her C2 works) Ultimately (and this is why I didnt do calcs in the video) it doesnt matter, since the point of the video was simply to encourage people to think over the actual reasons they are going for C2, rather than following the toxic groupthink mindset of "its strong." This was not a "heres some math outlining Furina C2" type of video (partially because most players arent looking for math reasoning for things). I did NOT structure this video in a way to make people think they were watching a calculation breakdown. If it was I probably wouldve titled it "Is Furina C2 worth it?" rather than an argumentative focused title stating my view that players probably shouldnt get Furina C2. My friend quit playing the game after being baited by archon constellations and the community talking about how OP it was, but because it wasnt at all relevant to how he was playing the game all he basically did was throw several hundred dollars in the toilet. Now he wont play another gacha game because of that experience (for good reason). And while I do fault the game for allowing him to make that mistake in the first place, it is also the communities fault for overvaluing constellations with how we talk about them that caused him to make the mistake. Hoyo didnt tell my friend or pressure him to pull for it--the community indirectly did so. So if its misinformation to encourage people not to be baited by this stuff, then I will GLADLY be accused of spreading misinformation. My hope is to make content that encourages people to enjoy Genshin as a game, and not to end up hating the game because the community rhetoric around things makes players thinks its a good idea to waste resources for this stuff (real world or just in game) (edited for formatting and additional thoughts clarifying things)

The issue is that the way you presented the value of her constellations are just wrong.... And you also don't say that you should invest in other characters! You say that her C1 is better and her C2 is "basically useless" which is wrong. Basically the MINIMUM damage increase she'll see is 40 percent. Fleuv r5 talents 7/7 HP/ER/CRIT main stats on golden troup no crit subs. With decent investment and leveled abilities it easily gets to 60 percent. This is only her personal damage (of which she's generally around 30 percent of a teams total damage at c0, she out damages yelan and XC by quite a bit)- she also has the benefit of stacking her damage bonus 3.5x faster than she would otherwise, meaning that you quickly max out her damage bonus on your first rotation where many teams can't otherwise. It's closer to a 20 percent TEAM damage increase minimum that gets higher with investment. At baseline more valuable than nahida's C2. In summation, the entirety of your video is trying to make the claim that C2 isn't a big difference. That's wrong. Also just... Don't use throwaway numbers and do some googling before putting out a video? Present the information accurately and I wouldn't have an issue.

Bennett is a weird case since there are teams where he can be made to be a ideal healer with Furina, and there are teams where he isn’t. You can do things like building him on Maidens with a healing focus and he can overheal your on field unit and even trigger Furinas passive. So basically hes weird enough with Furina that I didnt feel like getting into it. I feel the main thing Furina C2 does enable with Bennett is not needing to worry about Bennett healing, so you can do things like 4pc instructors on him still (like I used this video)

Id say it depends on what your healer situation looks like. I personally think I undervalued the strength of Sigewinne/Furina as a combo before actually playing them together. But I also have Furina C2 so when I actually spec a team into getting more dmg from Furina its more noticeable. At a baseline though, Sige make Furinas energy meeds lower, gives hydro resonance, and buffs Furinas off field dmg, which makes for a 2 unit combo that can be very strong (because Furina can be focused more into damage). I should have a video using hybrid buff/dps sigewinne tomorrow that shows some of this strength. With that said, I had enough options for healers that having Sigewinne or not is certainly not the difference maker in being able to clear content. If you have Kokomi, its likely that Sigewinne is much less worthwhile

Just save. Sigewinne is legit useless for serious play and as a new player there are so many better characters still left to pull. Yelan comes back next patch so thats someone to run with furina everywhere. Most importantly this 4* line up is also horrendous.

IMO Jean would appear to ruin your 50/50 at any time, and she would be enough, even qiqi, kokomi is valuable but only if you lack of hydro on field or something.

Do not get baited by the hydro healers, they aren't real units anymore. Kokomi's only team is nilou bloom or mono hydro and nilou can replace her very easily while mono hydro relies on furina and yelan who can be played in literally any other team. Sigewinne is just bad while also facing kokomi's issues of being undesired due to archetypes running specific healers that enable them such as kuki, bennett or Xianyun and specific hydro on or offielders that also provide utility such as neuv, yelan, furina, childe, xingqiu etc.

She CAN get max stacks for you quickly at C0/C1 though. Its a matter of how you end up using her. But yeah, as I said, unoptimal healers (which includes and unbuilt level 20 charlotte, yeah), are the main context it can be abused and can be valuable in. If you are always using her with Yelan, I can see why you notice it more since double hydro increases the relative dmg contribution of Furina too by having lower ER needs. I dont think Furina is at her best with double hydro though, but obviously different people can have different preferences for teams to use her in. Hence my argument being a wishywashy “probably maybe shouldnt get it” kind of argument

@@Solunerra I dont even have Yelan tbh, I just dont like the slowness of her buff so to me, the faster Furina can reach max, the better for the team, she is always on fav too even tho I have festering desire cuz to me she really doesnt need the extra dmg lol. The main thing about c2 imo is that she can do that even without a good aoe healer which rn we dont exactly have options that can justify their slots on the team(having to use Jean instead of Kazuha on a team or using Xianyun just for the heal and vv and ignoring her whole plunge thing as examples). I totally understand the argument because it is indeed a little less value than it seems but at the same time I would not trade her c2 for more characters at all but thats just me. Dont know how you feel about this but I really take my time being picky about who I pull for because most of the time now I prefer cons over new characters, I just dont feel the need for new gameplays that much, maybe it is the side effect of being an 1.0 player I guess.

@@Solunerra Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming you're taking no damage outside of her skill HP drain and starting from 50% HP on the party, C0 Furina = ~4s to reach 300 stacks after full heal and skill HP drain. Under the same situation, C2 Furina can reach 800 stacks instantly. If you're starting from full HP, C0 = ~13s relying on skill HP drain alone to reach 300 stacks. C2 takes 2s to reach 300+ stacks, 3s to reach 400 stacks, and ~8s to reach 800 stacks. I think C2's value can come from its ability to quickly gain stacks when your team is at healthy levels of HP when you activate Furina's burst.

i have both. c2 furina provides at least 3 times as much value as c2 nahida. c2 nahida increases her buffing capabilities by roughly 20% more damage. furina increases by way more. like 50%. not to mention furinas's way more flexible with teams, while nahida will lock you into a niche that isn't even very strong. plus, and this comes up more than you'd think, nahida is a debuffer, not a buffer. when there are many waves of enemies that die fast, like in events, or some abyss chambers, nahida is just south of useless, because she can't keep enemies cursed when they spawn faster than she can use her E. c2 nahida ain't worth it. she does all she needs to at c0

furina is literally her best team mate. there are zero downsides to using furina in a noelle team.

I run her with xianyun who has 3500 atk and 206 ER in a xiao team..idk if her constellation would be an upgrade or not

@@soujiokita6062 Furina’s c1 should be good. Basically, c0 burst gives 0-75% bonus dmg, while c1 gives 37.5-100% bonus dmg. Furina’s c2 does two thing: 1. You don’t need team-wide healer to get dmg bonus from Furina’s burst 2. Furina does a bit more damage If you want to run her alongside Xinyun (who’s a team wide healer), then [1.] is obsolete, while [2.] on its own isn’t that good TLDR: Furina’s c1 is worth it, while c2 is not

I'm getting c2 either way (c1 now and guaranteed) but I'm also torn between getting her signature or trying for Key again (3rd times the charm I guess, lost it twice). Especially considering the other weapon on the banner is a complete brick, just like last time. Then again we don't know who Nilou will be rerunning with. If it's Emelie her spear is also not the best, maybe for Xiangling on a burgeon team. It's an ok crit stat stick ig.

Yes, I tend to use Prototype Amber instead of a better 4 star weapon on Neuvillette because I value the team wide healing he provides in that team. It also drops my energy needs to 0 and can use those stats on pure damage so it tends to perform pretty well. Can often do about 40k damage charge attack ticks in Spiral Abyss with a Prototype Amber. This is usually good enough to clear most chambers in seconds.

@@AzureDrag0n1 but if you have his signature it's not even that hard to do 70~80k with c2 furina in the team. it becomes hard to justify prototype amber. his book is INSANELY good, one of the best weapons in the game. a lot of characters can make great use of it, including klee, wanderer, yanfei, heck, even reverse vape charged attack mona and barbara. if you have neuvillette, i highly recommend his weapon. great value for the entire account. the only bad part is that you'll have to save up around 220 wishes to guarantee you'll get it 😓 but hey, it will probably happen sooner than that, then you're left with a lot of wishes to waste on whatever you want later.

@@GenshinYuppe That requires pulling on the scam weapon banner and not actually getting his weapon. You have to give up 2 or 3 characters to get his weapon.

@@AzureDrag0n1 that's worst-case scenario, and that's why i said you have to save ~200 wishes (it usually comes within 150, and you have some refunds via duplicate four stars, but~). if you don't make sure you can guarantee it, it's not even worth trying. and like i said, if you get it early, you still can get characters with the remaining wishes. honestly it comes to a point where weapons have better value than characters because they enable the ones you already have to be more viable. Also, you get weapons even when you lose 50/50, and those can be useful too. but you're not wrong, the weapon banner is pretty scummy. probably not worth on a new account, unless the other weapon in the banner is also good

@@GenshinYuppe Personally I can't think of any reason for his weapon other than for beating those max difficulty whale events that have bosses have a 100 million hp or something. I already beat Spiral Abyss in seconds using him.

swap bennet out for charlotte with TTDS in that case. she's actually better than bennet because of the +20% crit rate w/ cryo that wanderer has, plus team wide comfy healing, lots of particle generation and reliable cryo application to keep the talent running - plus 48% atk bonus from ttds is nice, and you get get 20% more if you use noblesse on her. but i personally use him with c6 diona instead. worse heals, but shield! shield is absolutely delicious with him. plus it allows me to use retracing bolide on him, which is a set i have infinite godly pieces for, and makes diona's shield as strong as a zhongli shield, almost
