Tyler, it was a pleasure meeting you and playing in the Loudoun County Jazz Ensemble together from time to time. Beautiful playing here - and a great message reminding us of God’s power vs ours!
Devastatingly Incredulous! I must say that this message and melody are the finest ever recorded, edited, uploaded, and finally downloaded onto my computer for my audio/visual pleasure; contested only by the previous content put forth in similar manor by Mr. TT Cypher! My favorite bit yet again is from 3:35 to 3:54 where the standard performer might relax and rest in order to prepare for the final key change and finale, BUT TWAS NOT SO! Never in that entire timeframe does he relent and resign himself to using the third valve. Truly the sign of a master trumpeter who's unwillingness to compromise in his craft inspires me to continue to strive to be the very best in every aspect in my life. Bravo Sir; Bravo.
Hallo Tyler, what a beautiful video and rendition of this song on the trumpet! Very encouraging! I love the sound of your trumpet - powerful and piercing, though not overly bright for me. May I ask, is that a Vincent Bach Stradivarius and if so, what model number? Also, what mouthpiece are you using? Thanks and God bless you. Glory to God!
The trumpet is actually a Kanstul 1537. It is very similar to a Bach 37 though. I have recently started playing with a GR mouthpiece and they definitely have a nice full sound to them compared to any other I’ve played while not overly bright as you mentioned.
