Always good this ref. I find all the best refs are willing to speak with players. Even if a decision they make is wrong, it shows a bit of humility, and who wouldn't respect that? The guy that refereed my game last weekend didn't get everything right, but was willing to be explain his decisions in a measured manner, which got everyone on side.

Good work especially on your own! - you put up with more dissent than I would (obviously a personal thing), but you got the big decisions right 👍

Well done. Thanks for sharing this. Just demonstrates how difficult it is with NO AR's and NO video replays. All decisions given in real time with just one single look at it. Dead easy for folk to be critical when reviewing the footage on RU-vid. I don't think I'd have given anything any different to you.

Thank you. It’s extremely difficult, you have to look at so many things and to have to watch offsides which i’ll never be in line for(only on set pieces) it’s tough.

One wasn’t fussed, one didn’t want one because when you get people to do it from the club, “some” of them don’t do it fair and it just causes conflict.

15.15 PK for me, defender doesn't make contact with the ball but goes through the back of the attacker - not a jump as you describe watch his forward momentum after he is in the air.

i ref i in mid sussex league and we have to make sure there are 2 linos and corner flags .

Thank you. Sounds stupid but I’ve only just learnt how to properly blow the whistle, so the season just gone all the whistling sounds awful.

Hi don’t know if ur gonna respond but I think it just depends on how you view it. For example I think he has just gone straight through the back so a pen for me but u seen something different therefore you are make you decision based on a different picture

I am on the other side of it. The defender's leg goes to the side of the attacker, who then goes down WAY too easily for me. For me, it's doubtful it's a foul at midfield, and I'm certainly not going to give a PK for that little.

you need to be careful when you say the players jumped over it especially when the replay shows clear contact. too much dissent from the away team especially when you gave the high foot tackle. Be stronger and let them know under no circumstances will dissent be tolerated.

Mass surrounding of the referee is easily sorted by getting the yellow card out, usually after the first one they get the message. Any caution for the high foot foul, could’ve been a red if SFP / excessive force / endangering safety?

No pen for me because the way you have been calling the game you let the players be physical and play. To be constant it was a good no call.

The fact you’ve got different opinions indicate you didn’t get it wrong 👍 Some refs might’ve given it, some wouldn’t. If you give that then if you’re going to be consistent throughout the game, you’re going to be busy on the whistle because the standard off football isn’t great.
