Yeah and then I wish you have the option to (as the manager) go full Aaron Boone and get ejected or to take it up with the league office for some bonus
The game is literally roboumpires but you can also turn on imperfect strike zones to make them less perfect and that is really funny (I turn perfect umps off I like getting mad at calls lol)
Built a house, created a new game system, created a better version of MLB the Show, and played this same play while getting called safe, all before the ball touched the back of the glove😭
Only thing that would have been more realistic is if the ump was named “Hernandez” and if bell ran out of the dugout to fight someone after the call was safe.
It’s happened. You can find RU-vid videos where they go to replay and you can clearly see they’re safe but they get called out for whatever reason and it’s annoying. Especially if it’s a close game.
The one time I had the opportunity to challenge a call, I panicked when I saw the timer going down and chose not to challenge (the call was clearly wrong)
Gotta make sure you have the option on for the the umpires to make incorrect calls sometimes! And when a close play happens like that it'll give you the option! It won't. Every time though!
@kirihara147 I mean, we could shorten that to "What's the point of having umps?" First thing I do every year is set all the umpire settings to perfect. Baseball is hard enough as it is, we don't need digital angel hernandez in here as well. Heck, if only we could do this in the real world.
