@@VladimirDT yee CPU is the name for all AI/bot characters in older games for the past few decades, and even newer ones that are long running franchises. Maybe it's not as common anymore, but I think people like you and me grew up with that term being pretty normal.
**Adjusts glasses** Aktually, the CPU is incapable of doing anything by itself, it requires many other components such as a motherboard, harddrive, GPU, RAM, and memory busses. The CPU is only one tiny part of the computer's brain. ☝🤓
And here I thought "hm, this girl is kinda funny, lemme watch some more clips of her. Hm lets read the comments, why not?" Jesus Christ, some of y'all need help
I want to know what her non persona voice sounds like. Obviously still high pitched, thats not what im questioning. Im just curious what she sounds like regularly cause most vtubers put on a voice and shondo is for sure doing that with the way she says words(not pitch, intonation. Very different things)
A CPU by itself doesn't constitute a computer. A computer needs to be able to store, process, and output data. A CPU by itself lacks the other necessary components that allow it to process and store data, and therefore is not a computer.
@@mix-n-match834 A video game console contains a lot more than a CPU. It also contains a motherboard, memory busses, RAM, and a GPU. All of those things need to work together in order to make the computer-controlled opponent work. Just the CPU by itself doesn't do anything. Video game designers just used the word "CPU" because it's short and easy to remember, but it's not actually accurate. 🤓
@@SchemingGoldberg Yes, what @mix-n-match834 just said is accurate. In fact, CPU doesn't mean computer in Super Smash Bros, it's just jargon used to express the fact that the computer is being used to control the NPC rather than to refer to the computer itself or even a literal CPU. This is done because the two meanings share some parallels and are therefore conflated. Other terms like "firewall" might be used in a similar way, where technically firewall is supposed to refer to something very specific like an appliance used to control computer network traffic, however it is often used more broadly to refer to the security systems on a computer network.
