Wicked video as per usual Andy!! I’ll start this comment with a caveat. I am a Newcastle Fan, however! I do feel as though Almiron is being overlooked. Priced at £5 I think he’s worth a punt. Looks transformed under a full Howe preseason. 6 goals and 2 assists in reduced minutes. Eye test looks good, taking up advanced positions in the box, and been linking up with Trippier regularly. I understand Newcastle haven’t always been the most free flowing team, and Almiron as regularly displayed the inability to be ruthless in front of goal. But for a £1 saving on Bruno and and cheaper than most midfielders - I think it’s worth a punt.
What a great video. I know his fixtures are not the best but feel Zaha could be in the video also due to him being nailed and having pens. I also think Harvey barnes and Jack Harrison could be in this as options
@@Qammar_GGMU I totally agree as fixtures are not on his side in the first six but as he is their talisman I might take a punt on him and especially first game at home vs Arsenal and it being first game of the season I think he might do well. I think I might take a punt on him, after all I am considering Bamford so as you can see I like taking a risk 😂
@@Qammar_GGMU lol mate I feel your pain, my issue is I really like him as a player. Had him in last GW 1 squad and did well first week and like you said got injured lol 😂 Then I put him back in against wolves when he came back from injury and he was lively in the first 12 mins and even hit the post and then got injured 🤕. So I think I should learn my lesson by now. I do like the look of Leeds attacking players. Big fan of Jack Harrison too so maybe might go for him over bamford and save the 1.5 mil lol 😂
@@Qammar_GGMU Far from it lol 😂 I am a Man Utd fan but don’t like to shout about it lol 😂 I even like their new right back from Denmark 🇩🇰 lol 😂 I promise I do know something about FPL by the sounds of it it must sound like I am clueless lol 😂 I do have rashford in my GW 1 draft currently too.
Don’t get the Grealish hype, literally have no clue how City will play this season so why would you risk having him in so early when you can wait and just use an early wildcard?
dont get the salah hype, literally no clue how liverpool will play this season so why would you risk having him in so early when you can just wait and use an early wildcard
@@sidneypanami thanks, gl to you. The reason why not is because I just don't think that Chelsea will do good at the start of the season coming off the pre-season games of them getting battered by Chelsea and also James scoring an own goal
Really good team, personally I would change greenwood to a lower owned 4.5 due to price changes and try to free up some cash to upgrade cash to a city defender such as Dias/Laporte
Looks good. I think chilwell and double Chelsea defence is risky as he’s not fully fit and Chelsea not looked good in pre season, and cash is a bit of a punt for opening fixtures so hopefully you have a plan for when that turns
Double CHelsea really risky at this point, James is fair, Chillwell getting no min and no attack return, James look strong but is it worth it? Most likely no clean sheet with lack of cohesion in attack and defence, players won't be able to support James strong attack or defence returns so maybe robo, Martinelli a starter and better value than saka, had better attack output and looked stronger.
As a chelsea fan I don't recommend you going double chelsea defence, since we still need to sign at least one cb and there is not much time left, our defence doesn't look to solid and may take time to settle with new players, as well as chilwel coming back from a long term injury. I'd go for a city defender, preferavly cancelo, but if you don't wanna downgrade anyone else just go for a 6 mil city cb like dias or laporte. Maybe go saka->martinelli chilwel->cancelo and you will have one million more to invest, maybe sanchez->ederson?
Bailey could be explosive, even from the bench. Villa don’t have too much in attack Coutihio is nailed and Watkins or zings will start, then it’s either Emi or Bailey. Archer and Davis are squad fillers. Gerrard prefers Bailey and he’s been the only attacking threat through preseason
Still debating whether to keep Callum Wilson or swap him out for Gabriel Jesus? Wilson has a higher predicted point than Jesus with a predicted score of 6.1. Jesus has a predicted score of around 4....my gut tells me to go against the grain, but idk anything about Wilson, except he is injury prone...
Ramsdale Cancelo, Trent, Robo Martinelli, Rashy, Neto, Diaz Kane, Haaland, Jesus v Ramsdale Cancelo, Trent, Robo, James Salah, Neto, Rashy, Martinelli Kane, Jesus This is a really tough one for me, do you think Salah and James can outscore a Diaz and Kane idk because of CHelsea weakness recently I feel first option is much stronger
Personally I'm a fan of no Salah, especially when it's a choice of Salah vs Kane (are we really thinking Salah is gonna score so many more points than Kane to justify an extra 1.5m?) but as for the teams you've suggested, it's a question of whether you think Haaland and Diaz will outscore James and Salah (since you have Kane in both drafts). What I'm confused with is why James isn't in draft 1 anyway? Is all your Salah money going towards Haaland? My suggestion is downgrade Cancelo to a different City defender and use that money to get James, Haaland and Diaz all in that first draft then I think you have a phenomenal team.
Second one is better. People are getting carried away with Chelsea pre season form. They will still get clean sheets with their nice run of fixtures and James attacking potential is extremely high, better than robos when he’s at rwb. Salah is a non-negotiable imo, but love to know any other reasonings for why you prefer first one atm
@@chyanfrancisco4818 The Salah money takes a 4.5 to Haaland then I am working at a 6m midfielder to replace salah and the James money goes towards upgrading that 6m midfielder to Diaz. Trying to fit James in this team removes Rashford, I feel Rashford has stronger attacking potential while a new and raw Chelsea defence would see little defensive returns in the opening fixtures against the weaker ones Rashy faces Ramsdale James, Trent, Robo, Cancelo Martinelli, Neto, DIaz Haaland, Kane, Jesus Olsen, Dasilva, Andreas, Neco
@@chyanfrancisco4818 Remember they are most likely captaincy points for a start, so those extra points are worth double. Secondly, midfielders get an extra point for clean sheet and a goal, if both score 1 goal in a 1-0 game, as a captain that is 12 for Kane and 16 for Salah (No bonus included). Personally, I think Liverpool captaincy fixtures and fixtures in general are nicer than Spurs, even though it’s close, the small details matter. Liverpool are a more attacking and better team than spurs. Salah was top for goals and assists last season, but kane was the year before. I would say their stats are almost identical, with very similar xGI per 90. Finally, taking into account EO, I would always rather go with the higher EO player if it was a really close decision. Yes you could be in very small group at the top if you were right about Kane vs Salah, but if you are wrong, you are behind a very large group who went for Salah. This is why for me it’s non-negotiable to not go with Salah
@@ollielee-amies9582 good points, if that’s the case has land is the one to drop then for him to compensate this move, Im curious what’s your lineup for the season
Tomiyasu not played any pre season minutes. I would go saliba or Ben white whoever you think is more nailed If you want arsenal defence. Also have Dalot who looks attacking and nailed, ait nouri who wingback with great fixtures, lamprey and dunk too
@@Faze_Bruh Agree with Tomiyasu as not played much pre season so switched to Dalot. Sancho looking strong in pre season compared to Rashford. Don’t have funds for Raya to Ramsdale.
My team:Ederson,Cancelo,Trent,Cash,Salah,Neto,Bailey,Martinelli,Kane,Jesus,Darwin Subs:Gazzaniga,Almiron,Patterson,Neco Williams.......Thinking about no Salah and bringing in KDB and Luis Diaz some how.........Good Luck
I’m surprised why no one’s even mentioned Jacob Ramsey. He played a lot in the second half last season, looks like he’s gonna get a lot of game time. He’s even started most of their friendlies. He has a decent goal scoring record and could be one of the differentials this season.
@@clodaghmorrison310 why not. He gets pretty good amount of minutes. He’s cheap as hell for a mid. He had some good goal contributions last year and I think under stevie g he can do better
He’s not nailed in the villa midfield. Kamara and McGinn will start, then one of Luiz or Ramsey. Bailey is the one in the villa midfield you want, even if he doesn’t start he can score from the bench
Andy do you think Aaron Hickey is going under the radar at Brentford? Attacking fullback should be nailed, not sure Henry and Pinnock will do better than him. I'm gonna punt on him from gw3 onwards when villa and newcastles fixtures dip
Get rid of perisic, no guarentee for start, no look on him as of yet, may be a strong starter in 6-7 gameweek but at the moment definitely not for the first fixture
@@Faze_Bruh I personally don’t mind it as punt. very attacking wingback in conte system that scores loads of goals. he used to play as a winger so is definitely their most attacking wingback at the club also. It’s a risky pick though with chances he could not play first couple due to fitness and competition with sessegnon and reguilon, but he could also go bang so depends on your risk appetite
@@ollielee-amies9582 I would agree but punting on a 5.5 is not the best option, for that price in defence you want a strong pick, allocating funds is so important and you could easily upgrade an mbeumo to a stronger striker or smfn else, I don’t doubt potential but he’s not going to be guns blazing I strong advise to look at other options
@@Faze_Bruh agree with some of what you said, but I think 5.5mil is a good price point to punt on, especially a player who’s attacking numbers for inter at wingback were crazy for a defender and if he was nailed, he would be in most of our sides i think like he was when fpl launched. I’m not going for perisic as he’s too risky for me, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work. If i was tell you now perisic starts every game for tottenham in the first 6 games or if he was to get goal and an assist in first three games with 2 clean sheets would you be surprised? Equally the opposite could happen that’s why I’m not going for him, but he is a high risk high reward player so that’s why I still think he’s good punt if he believe he will start and do well. Football is unpredictable game and that’s why we all love it
Odergaard is one you missed out on Andy on free kicks and set pieces. Also on the Bailey issue. You are thinking too long term. With five sub rule guaranteed minutes regardless. I have both Bailey and Andreas. Bailey great value for those first three fixtures. Also Dewsbury-Hall an easy out from Bailey after gw3. Even Dasilva.
is sancho worth it when you can save 0.5mil for rashford and i wouldn't say that lingard is overlooked but at the moment the fixtures are poor. Although Walker and Grealish do look good
Issue is you have martenelli at 0.5mil cheaper, playing for a team with better fixtures, finished higher last season, strengthened better this summer and arguably the better team also
Bruno reminds me a lot of Willock last season. Had some great returns at the end of the previous season but did not keep this form up. I suspect Bruno will be the same, Bruno is however a great player.
Hey could you please rate my team GK- Allison DEF- Perisic Koulibaly James Trent MID- De Bruyne Sancho Grealish ATT- Haaland Mitrovic and Jesus Subs are Diallo Bailly Da Silva and Raya
Should be a front 4 of neto, podence and MGW. With either den doncker as a 10 or hwang coming in and mgw dropping to 10. Neto podence and mgw should all be nailed tho. They could obviously still buy someone aswell
@@apj8836 yes, as i said, i think neto, podence and MGW are nailed regardless. Then either hwang with mgw as the 10 or podence false 9 and dendoncker at 10 with hwang dropping out. I do think the Dendoncker Neto podence mgw front 4 is more likely tho.
Why not have KDB and Kane GW1 and then change them to Son and Haaland GW2, My team:Ederson,Cancelo,Trent,Cash,Salah,Neto,Bailey,Martinelli,Kane,Jesus,Darwin Subs:Gazzaniga,Almiron,Patterson,Neco Williams.....Been thinking about Salah for Diaz and trying to find the funds for KDB so i can interchange with Son,But yeh week and abit to tinker with my team....Good Luck
Technically City Lost More games than Liverpool last season, with both teams conceding the same amount of goals, so you could say Liverpools Defence Is better... Liverpool just missed the mark too many times in some games to get those extra points, where as Citys attack did better
I think united players are all underpriced this season, simply because of how bad they were last season. They certainly won't all become stars overnight, but 10hag will be playing more attacking, Sancho and martial, imho, are the two united players nobody should fear having in their team this season
Thoughts on this strategy… rotating salah Kane captain, and having foden, mahrez, grealish so as a minimum you will always have 2 city attacks for relatively cheap, and Neto as a sub if one of them don’t come on at all
@@zzVulture I'm sure hoping he will, and signs are looking good - Antonio might go onto the wings where he played before being striker. Will definitely be keeping my eye on the Rens match and Man City fixture to see Moyes' plan for the attack.
@@michaela2706 I can't see why not, Conte said new signings Spence was for the future, and Conte has praised Doherty's work rate in pre season. Could be a fantastic differential
could cancelo maybe be transitioned into a centre midfielder or a centre defensive midfielder and walker start at right back and curcuella at left back?
Certainly not with the addition of Philips. Besides city have enough midfielders for rotations and lack players at full backs. No way he moves to midfield
@@FPLJnr I actually think that Cancelo might be pushed to be a left winger, especially if Cucurella joins and starts at left back He would rotate with Grealish on the left wing, Foden with Mahrez on the right
@@mattishidayeo you force Cancelo up front that means you have no options in rotating your full backs. Seems not happening cos city have enough bodies upfront
With Grealish I don't think he's the Fpl type player to get alot of goals and assists. He's more the type of player who makes runs draws fouls and gets in those dangerous areas to create chances add to that the rotation risk If you want a city attacker that's not haaland or KDB I'd say foden for 1mil more is a better option
@@RS-vg7yc According to the media, it’s because he wasn’t vaccinated, not because he’s not fit. City mids are guaranteed for benching at some point imo, potentially even haaland, but we know how good they all can be for their price points
Raya TAA Cash Walker Zinchenko Salah Diaz Grealish (Bailey) Kane Jesus Havertz do I do Havertz to martial and grealish to Mahrez, and what do you think about my team ?
@letstalkfpl I'm in so many leagues and I want to delete/leave some of them but I'm concerned if I accidentally delete/leave the wrong one so I want to know is it possible to rejoin a league once you leave it?
My reaction to Robertson is that you can probably save money by grabbing Alisson as GK and downgrading him into a Perisic/James for a net gain, depending on how much your original goalkeeper cost
I have put three of my beloved forest players in my team this season. Madness I Kno, but I don't care!! Seriously, forest have bought heavy and there's certain players for them who are in no way a terrible pick for a cheapo budget filler. I'm not telling you who mind!!!
